Q: 3-5 years from now who would you expect to have more growth?...LMN or CSU.
Certainly like the fact that LMN's majority shareholer is CSU. I would think CSU spun them off as they expect more growth from them as well?

Q: comment please on PIF recent earnings release
thank you

Q: Peter, please advise your US & Can stock picks in Feb 20 interview with Chris with a short narrative. Thanks
Q: Your Feb 22nd answer to Chris was incorrect. That probably was a result of a wrong article in CBC or GLOBE about a dividend cut. It labelled the company as DIR.UN, but in reality the dividend cutter was D.UN.
DIR.UN has not cut - or raised ! - its dividend in the last 10 years.

Q: could I get a short version on the pros and cons of CDRs and are they any advantage to have in a smaller portfolio for U.S. stocks Thanks
Q: Hi 5i
WRT howards question on takeover targets, what percentage would you expect to effect a successful acquisition of either of these two....how would determine this, back of envelope calculation?
What was the chord offer for ERF
Thx

Q: Its likely this has been asked before but I couldn't find it... Besides the big guns NVDA, MSFT etc what smaller AI players providing the picks & shovels look good forward ? Which ones would make good targets for the big guys ? Thank you.
Q: If you have to invest new money today with a 3/5 years view (appreciation + dividend), which one will be your choice, Superior or Bell?
Q: Would you buy EQB or FOUR right now? Or no preference?

Q: Hi Team,
Now that NVDA earnings have completely proved the markets “fear” going into the print completely wrong ; what’s your take on the stock going forward ? Continued momentum? Buy, trim , hold ? The way it looks to me comparing valuations and insane revenue growth rates NVDA might be on its way from #3 spot to eventually taking over both apple and Msft as largest company. Do you see this as correct? The crazy thing is AI is just getting started. Seems like a huge market for NVDA going forward with many countries that haven’t even touched the surface of getting started. I don’t want to sound overly bullish but looking at the future of the world dynamics with digitization of everything this seems to be the future . This being said ; there will be massive demand for data center infrastructure. What companies are the best to play this ? HPS.A seems like data center infrastructure will be a big area of growth for them . Your thoughts please , Thanks.

Q: Good morning 5i
I ignored Warren Buffer’s advice to never invest in airlines and I have been holding onto that small amount of Southwest Airlines waiting for it to make a comeback. Long wait. But, i see it starting to edge up on a fairly steady basis lately. That has me wondering whether i should buy a bit more. But, maybe belated, i am pretty gunshy of airlines. Maybe i would be better to put that money elsewhere. Wondering what your prognosis is for a company like Southwest? Buy more or look elsewhere?
Thanks

Q: A few question and please take as many credits as required:
1) Is there a reasonable way to estimate how much of the share price increases in SMCI and NVDA are due to short covering?
2) What is the current short % in both NVDA and SMCI?
3) Where does one find information related to short %?

Q: Have you any info on CRAs new requirement that any joint holdings and bank accounts between parents and children will now have to declare them as a BARE TRUST 507 and have til Mar 31st to register them and submit to them? Thanks
Q: Would you buy SMCI now or wait for a dip?
Q: What are your thoughts on Q4 and FY 2023 results?
Thank you.
Thank you.
Q: The Open Ai creation of a video prompted by text (Sora) has resulted in ADBE dropping substantially. It does seem like Ai will be very disruptive in many ways. Is ADBE still buyable? If so what would be a good entry price? Thank you. John
Q: Regarding Frank's question on Pinetree Capital
It is seemingly up because they hold shares in Bravura Solutions traded on the ASX and main reason is they reported nice results a few days ago.
Some connections to Constellation Software here as of course Mark Leonard's son Damien runs this company (Pinetree) as I am sure you know and they seem to align with Constellations investments a few times (holding Sygnity and Topicus) and a Volaris Group Vice President (Shezad Okhai) joined Pinetree in 2021and then left for Bravura Solutions in 2023... they look undervalued when you review all their investments and report soon.
