Q: I was saddened to hear about the tragic loss of CEO of Spectra7. Where does this leave the company, since it is a small company? Do you feel they can move forward, or more likely to try sell the company now? I imagine it will take a long time to regain their footing? Or was there a lot of operational involvement from others in the company that could move it forward?

Q: Comments on Photon Control's Q1 results please.
I really like this small unique company. No debt and tons of cash which it seems to add to every quarter. I'm thinking about adding to it some more at these levels. One thing that has frustrated me; however, is the cash stock pile not doing much... just sitting there on their balance sheet.
Thanks

Q: Good morning.
I really appreciate the great job you do. I have two questions.
1. Could you please give your comments on the latest Descartes results?
2. Short Sellers - where can I find out info about the number of short sellers on a company?
Thanks for your help.

Q: What is the end game on this recent run up? Will its run stop when it hits a higher PE? Looks like it will blow through $4, but I'm just not sure why? I have a nice profit, but technically see no reason to sell yet...
Poor management aside, what would you say is the "fair value" of WIN?

Q: I read with interest your recent article in the Post and was intrigued by the comment that research shows 90% of portfolio returns come from sector allocation - if a person wanted to take advantage of that, in a simple, easy to manage and inexpensive way (ignoring taxes for the moment) what would be your view be on an approach where one's equity component of their portfolio consisted entirely of a number of ETF's with each one of the ETF's focused on a particular sector, with a periodic (say quarterly) rebalancing? What specific ETF's would you suggest for such a portfolio? Thank you.
Q: What do you think of FXL-US for the next few months?
Q: Hi Peter,
I am happy to have held win through the terrible downturn. What have changed since? Is it time to sell with a small profit? Thanks

Q: Hi 5i Team!
FTG was a top pick on Market Call yesterday and is among the most active on the TSX today. Your lone opinion on FTG on April 12 indicates a positive impression and outlook. Would you please expand on your opinion as follows:
What current metrics matter to 5i when evaluating this company now, and how does this guide you in forming your opinion?
What metrics would you focus on when evaluating FTG a year from now?
What industry do they serve, and who are their main customers To what extent do they depend on domestic and export sales of their technology?
Is FTG a good candidate for a 2-3% patient wealth building portfolio or do you consider more of a cyclical investment?
Is FTG the kind of investment that would possibly considered by 5i in future as a candidate for the Growth Portfolio?
Appreciate your opinion, as always...

Q: I am thinking of buying the above but still may favor a u.s. equivalent. Any suggestions. I own ULTI.
Q: With the recent uptick in wi-lan do you still think its a cheap stock and safe to buy at this level for a long term hold.
Q: Can you please let me know why the above stock is going up. At one time I was losing money, now I am making. Also, I would like to add Argonaut Gold in my watch list but am not able to.
Q: In my RRSP account,I had double position in ESL, I sold half today, and thinking to add another Tech company for diversification. Which one you prefer, SH ,OTC, FB or other name. I already have KXS, DH, SIS.
