Investment Q&A
Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.
Q: What is your current perspective on INTT? Are there other “niche” tech stocks you like once the market “calms down” a bit?
Q: I am curious about the Dividend with SYZ. Very few Tech Co.'s have any dividends and those that do are usually less than 3%. So why does a smaller tech Co. have such a large dividend? Appreciate your comments. Is their Div sustainable and would this be a good choice for an income investor. Thanks!
Q: PSH was a top pick on Market Call today. Could I have your analysis and would you consider it a buy, hold or sell
Q: I would like to get your thoughts on ADW.A today. I am down ~35% and there seems to be no investor confidence in this stock. It should be a reopening idea which should start performing as we are lifting restrictions. Would you add to a position or has the stock has become a falling knife.
Also, I have heard Peter suggest it is not when to buy a stock it is knowing when to sell. What criteria would you use to determine a sell?
Thank you

Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: Thoughts regarding MOGO and thanks!
Q: How do you feel about Verde today and what are your thoughts on the special committee to share profits with investors? Thanks!

Q: Hi 5i Team - Could you provide the names of some beaten down stocks that have a decent chance of recovery over the next year or two. This is a relatively short timeline but I'm looking for companies that still have a good balance sheet, are well managed, have good prospects, and yet have still been caught in the downdraft along with the negative market sentiment. Any sector and any market cap but with a focus on small to mid-cap. Thank you.
Q: NL Industries seems to have strong value characteristics at the moment.
With your value hat on, what hesitations do you have, if any, with this particular company.
Thanks for your insight!
Marc.

Q: With your expertise are you able to articulate the de coupling of Small/Mid caps in comparison to the Nasdaq/TSX/Dow. Small/ Mid caps are down near early 2020 lows and yet the broader index's do not reflect this. Historically does this happen often? The underlying sentiment has been quite deflating.

Q: Hello 5i Team,
In the past month alone NFI has received contracts for almost 600 buses (hybrid/electric) according to the headlines on seeking alpha. Do these contracts actually translate into bus sales?
What is keeping this company down over years? Is it that the dept is to high for the market or that the acquisitions simply have not panned out?
Thank You,
Andrew
