Q: Hi,
I note your favourite residential REITs but they have almost no exposure to BC. Is there a reason for this? Which REITs have the most West coast exposure? What do you think of them?
Thank you for your advice,
Bryn

Q: Hello 5i Team
Thank you for the new update on Interrent REIT.
Reviewing the new report on Interrent REIT, the Peer Relative Evaluation section compares Interrent against ten REITs, however only two of the ten REITs (CAR.UN & NVU.UN) are in the residential apartment sector.
1 - Please comment on how companies are selected for the Peer Relative Evaluation section.
2 - Would it be more appropriate to compare Interrent against the major residential apartment REITs (BEI.UN, CAR.UN, KMP.UN, MI.UN, MRG.UN, NVU.UN) than to the Office, Industrial, Retail REIT section?
3 - Also given NVU.UN is subject to a takeover, is this a reasonable comparison?
Thanks

Q: I currently hold 2,000 exe.a and 1,000 csh.un in one of my RRSP accounts and am down considerably on both.

1/ Do you feel the dividends are relatively safe?

2/ Do you think think they will rebound?

3/ Or - should I just trim them both and move on?

Thanks for your insights.

Q: Hi Everyone at 5i! I own shares of BPY.un and HR. un. HR cut its dividend but still offers a dividend of over 6%. BPY has a higher dividend which it has not cut yet. I would like to sell off my HR and reinvest in BPY to conglomerate my holdings. Do you think this would be a good move? Cheers, Tamara. PS. I caught Peter’s virtual Money Show presentation today. It was excellent!!! Thank you!!!!

Q: Any thoughts on why there is a share consolidation,I know there was some who thought the company was undervalued by the market, now we have the pandemic and I don't think anyone knows the full effect that will have in the market, is there a line of thought this will give a better price over the long haul.
Best Regards,
Tom

Q: Peter; NVU.UN is ,all things being equal, being taken over by Starlight, aka Mr.Drimmer. At the same time there is an IPO backed by Starlight, called the Northview High Yield Residential Fund .class A shares, to yield 10.5%. Which, if qualifies for the dividend tax credit , would be attractive. Have you heard of this IPO and how is it connected to the takeover? Thanks. Rod
