Q: The "street" appears to dislike the Encana purchase announced today. Is this transaction that bad for the Encana stock?
The sell-off is certainly significant and does this represent a worthy entry point?
I also keep hearing that gas stockpiles are far below historical levels and with the cold weather around the corner would this have any positive impact for Encana?

Q: I hate the Canadian oil sector but for some reason I feel obligated to have a small representation. As such I have a 1.3% position in WCP. Thinking of changing that to Parex Resources at the same weighting. Comparisons and advice please ?

Q: ..bought VET because it was supposedly more protected from WCS pricing than either CNQ or SU...but it has fallen more and is now way down. is there anything left in this country to put money into?

Q: I currently own a small position in WCP. Would you consider adding to this position assuming the dividend is safe from the decline in oil prices ? I think the decline in Canadian oil is pretty much done given the already very low price.

Or would you recommend another producer ? If so, which one ?

Q: Mullen Group reported results today and they are what they are. I watched the CEO on BNN today and did not find his interview “warm and fuzzy”. Actually I found he was bitter and he blamed the government and economic influences beyond his control for the company results. I came away thinking if the CEO doesn’t think positively of the future then it’s time to exit my holdings and move on.
Am I way off the mark? Would appreciate your advice.

Q: You commented earlier that the mkt may not like the earnings miss, thus the pressure on the stock.
I was under the impression oil/gas stocks are valued on a cash flow basis. Vet cash flow improved this Q.
None the less Vet seems to be going out of business , my only hope may be that they
sign a deal to grow cannabis
