Q: Hi Peter, PEO has pulled back some from its recent highs. Is this a good time to buy or is something negative starting here with the company? Looking at the chart every recent little pullback has been a buying opp. I am looking for a 2018 tfsa candidate that has big potential, but yet fairly solid. Also can you comment on the overall macro environment for People's business and the outlook for the demand of their services.

Q: What are your thoughts here? Backlog has been promising from time to time but not sure it translates efficiently to the bottom line and chart has been range bound for a while. Thanks!
Q: Hello 5i Team,
What do you think of CSU at its current valuation and its future growth prospects going forward? (Long term hold)
Thanks

Q: MX has pulled back a bit. Should a guy take some profits or continue to hold on for the long term?
Q: In early December I sold half of a position in GUD for tax loss purposes. To put the money to use I purchased a half position in PHO as a "temporary" replacement.
The plan was to then sell PHO and repurchase GUD after 30 days.
PHO has done reasonably well since then. GUD has also increased.
Based on a long term time frame and no sector impacts would you stick with the original plan and repurchase GUD to a full position or would you remain with a half position in each GUD and PHO?

Q: Good morning,
I am looking at buying a position in ECN Capital. Would you be comfortable at current levels? Any comments on their offer to buy service financial holdings?
Thanks in advance
Phil

Q: Can you explain in simple terms how ECN functions at a high level?
For example, in their rail vertical, are they leasing their own rail cars or connecting buyers to sellers while providing loans, or something entirely else? What makes them attractive for buyers versus going to a big bank? I'm trying to see wherein lies their competitive advantage.
Thanks.

Q: Referring to your response that the uptick in PLI is likely related to small cap bounce typical to this time of year; would you trade on that basis? I've got a nice profit and am wondering whether to hold or trade around volatility. Their financial trend is looking good, so I'm not averse to holding either.
Q: Hi 5i Team
I've been watching CGX from the sidelines and can't get past the persistent high P/E ratio in the face of the struggles that the movie theater industry is going through. I understand that CGX is working hard to diversify and that the have a virtual monopoly on screens in Canada but that doesn't justify the high P/E to me. I'm leaning more toward buying PUTs rather than buying the stock or CALLs.
I'd appreciate your opinion on CGX's current valuation and prospects for next year.
Thanks
Peter

Thanks!

Q: Following your balanced portfolio. still have not purchased the above stocks. Give me your top 3 from the list above in order. Have a 5 year time frame. Thanks for all your help. Is this a good time to buy?
Q: I've been a long time holder of Constellation Software recommended by you. Thank you so much.
My question is in regards to the companies that Constellation acquires. I notice only a few deals through press releases, but if I were to go into the quarterly statements I see way more companies being acquired. Why is Constellation being selective and only publishing some deals and not others? Is there a criteria for this or is it just up to them what they disclose to public and shareholders?

Q: Hi, Although these are not comparable companies, I'm looking to invest in one for my TFSA and would like information on which has the most growth potential in terms of share appreciation.
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Thinking about beginning a position in BCE now that it has pulled back. Any thoughts on support levels now that interest rates increases have been pretty well telegraphed ? Thanks Steve
Q: For growth and maximum return in a TFSA, would you suggest BCE with the good dividend or ATD.B as the riskier but more to gain investment? I know you don't have a crystal ball but based on your best research? Thanks
Q: Happy New Year to the 5i team! Which one between DOL and ATD.B has more growth potential according to you based on a 5 yrs time frame?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Q: I am transitioning from a growth portfolio to an income producing portfolio. Should I buy the dividend stocks in the model portfolio one at a time or buy small portions of each?
Q: Is this a good entry point after recent steady decline? Thanks for U usual great views & services. Eagerly awaiting U monthly update
Q: After being a laggard for most of 2016 &2017, Sylogist shares finally picked some momentum after release of last quarterly results in December, probably due to renewed optimism about company's outlook for 2018 and beyond. However, market interest seems to be fading out as reflected in share price falling back to $9.50-9.75 level (below where it started last year). I do understand that no analyst covers the co. and stock has low liquidity. Over past 4-5 years, since we started investing in the company, it has produced decent returns for us including respectable dividend growth each year, but I am wondering if it's time to lighten up (6-7% of portfolio) and deploy funds elsewhere. Unless, of course, if there is a compelling reason/potential to hold. Thanks
