Q: Hello! I often see BAM.A mentioned as being the more growth-oriented stock versus BEP.UN being the more income-oriented stock. Historically, this has been the case. However, last year, BEP.UN showed more growth than BAM.A. With the growing interest in renewable energy (both from a media coverage perspective and also, I think, from actual industry development/momentum), do you feel BEP.UN's outperformance against BAM.A last year is a trend to continue into the future?

Q: I own enbridge and have done well on it. I struggle to hold it as psychologically long term we are moving away from fossil fuels and have been thinking of going into BIP. So ENB will have to move away from their reliance on FF transportation and into other projects. What are your thoughts on this longer term theory. Do you think shorter term, say 5 - 10 years, this theory is irrelevant?

Q: Brookfield group tend to buy out the remaining interest in a company in which they already have a partial interest. Is it possible for you to identify those companies and list the percentage of interest owned by Brookfield?

Q: Happy New year Peter & Ryan!

Very happy with the Growth portfolio performance last year. Quick question on the US ETF exposure. What is the argument for taking the growth 'style' IWO over IWM or the value based IWN?

I know the performance has been better for Growth in the last 10 years, but most of the perhaps 'dated' literature I've read suggests value biased ETF's tend to do better over the long haul and would be curious to get your opinion.

Q: I would like to replicate your growth portfolio in one of my investment accounts. I'm using wealth simple trade so there are no commission fees for transactions. How much of each do I buy? I'm a little confused as to how to get in on the portfolio right now if I don't currently hold any of the stocks.

Q: Currently hold Dollarama in my RRIF and underwater. I am considering moving it to my TSFA as part of my yearly contribution $6000.00. If and when a downturn occurs I am thinking this stock should be a decent holding, or should I just sell and take my loss
