Q: would appreciate your current comments on USA, in view of their opening of the Mexican mine and what is the seasonality for silver. Thanks
Q: Hi 5i,
Could you provide your analysis of yesterday's CS results and also any thoughts you have for its future based on same?
Thanks,
Peter

Q: Hi,
Finally some good news re. Noront! Although Doug Ford never jumped on a bulldozer as promised, some long awaited interest in the Ring of Fire. Just wondering what you would suggest investors do in these situations; trading right around takeover price ($0.55) but it seems to me that mostly upside from here so better to hang on.
Thanks,
Steven

Q: EQX: hold no gold stocks. Thinking might be a good idea with all the debt. floating around as a hedge against that and inflation. I was thinking of this company; however, concerned about the location of the mines in S.A. - stability? Any comment of location of mines and % of total production - risk - political etc.?
Q: Skeena Resources just released a Prefeasability Study for its Eskay Creek exploration project in the Golden Triangle area of BC. I wonder if you could interpret the results for me, especially in terms of potential share price and timing. I realize it is still a speculative stock, but I'd like your assessment of whether or not is a good bet. My shares are in positive territory now, but I'm wondering how long to expect to hold them. I don't necessarily want to stick around until the mine is operational. But maybe, depending on your assessment. Thanks again for continued excellent information and analysis.
Q: Your thoughts on the Eskay PFS just released?
Q: I own a small position in TKO as part of a basket of copper stocks. It appears to be underperforming the others. My question is whether you see potential for it so as to maintain or add to the position or whether you would sell and transfer the proceeds to stocks I also own such as CS and ERO? Thank you for your advice.
Q: What is outlook over next 1-2 years?
Q: This mine seems to be in a perilous situation. Bankruptcy is not out of the question I suppose. And now 3 Appian board members have resigned.
The senior creditor is BNP and Appian holds "mega millions" of shares. In March, New Gold invested $25 million and still the sp is falling like a rock.
What is your 2 cents on Harte Gold

Q: Taking recent news into account, would you buy Largo at current prices?
Q: Hi again 5i,
Could I have your thoughts on the prospects for copper generally and CS particularly over the next 6 months or so? I understand China might have a lot to do with where copper goes but I don't feel very confident about analyzing the economics and/or geopolitics that affect copper miners and producers. Not long ago CS was looking very strong but very quickly it seems to have lost its lustre - is this just par for the course for commodities or are the swings accelerating as the pace of events and news travels ever faster?
Thanks,
Peter

Q: i own both but am a little nervous re. earnings ...CS or CMMC ... which would be the better to keep coming into earnings reporting
Q: I read in the G&M that iron ore prices were basically at their peak, by some estimates. I bought LIF in January, knowing it in a cyclical industry. I am a buy and hold investor but I knew I would not hold on to LIF for very long i.e. 1-2 years at most I made a nice profit since then and received 2 delightful dividends… How can one estimate the likelihood that LIF’s share price can grow from here and jump out if in all probability it is not going to materially grow in the next year or so? The SP has not been this high in 10 years. What would be factors that would lead us to believe the SP will continue marching higher in this case? Thanks.
Q: Hi 5i,
Would you still consider Teck a buy even with the latest "Inflation Transitory" debate? Will the fires in BC cause a impact on the qrt release? Seems to be in a negative downward trend. I have positions in KL & NTR already for materials exposure.

Q: Assuming gold holds above $1750, do you think Barrick's dividend is safe? Because, if so, a 4% plus dividend yield is very attractive while waiting for price appreciation. Thank you.
Q: Is Hbm a buy at. This price
Q: KRR has issued a revised news release where the company corrected an earlier news release which incorrectly reported second quarter gold sales higher than actually achieved. Gold production was not changed. I don't really have a problem with the sales error even though it would have been better if the error hadn't occurred. The revised news release projects gold production to more than double to 205,000 ounces by 2024 (from 2020 production levels) with costs declining at the same time. How solid do you feel is this 2024 projection or is it promotional?
Sales errors are one thing but future production "hype" is another.
Any thoughts you have would be appreciated.
Jim

Q: My wife and I are in our mid-late 70's and only have investments in RRIFs.
We don't have any stocks in the materials sector and I would like to add something that has either solid growth potential or pays a dividend to add a bit more balance. I once invested in gold (BTO) and didn't do well, so I'm not particularly interested in that unless it meets the criteria above.
I am, however open to all suggestions. I have 6% space to allocate to your recommendations, so please advise accordingly.

Q: I am interested in investing in gold. Please advise if this is a good time to put money into this and if so, which company do you think has the most potential. As well please advise which companies to stay away from at this time.
Thank you for your great service
