Q: WhaT do you think about Teck at these levels? Is it a good time to get in for a two year hold? Is there another company/etf you like better?
Q: GEO has been trending down the past couple of weeks. Do you see anything that would account for it? Does it still look ok as a buy considering smaller size and risk?

Q: On July 15/16 you responded to a question on what would be some good gold stocks to buy at the prices that existed then. You suggested AEM, RIC, MND, BTO, FNV, SMF for a variety of reasons depending on the company. Would these still be your choices today considering the change in gold prices and other factors. If changes should be made do you have any new suggestions. Thanks.
Q: I have been following this company for the last six months. I'm putting some faith in the fact that Keith Neumeyer (FR,FM) should know how to develop the assets. I like the fact that they picked up assets in a depressed market, and sell or strike production deal when the commodity is higher and sit on it in the meantime. However, like storage wars no one really knows what's behind garage door or in this case under the ground. To that end the press release of December 1st speaks to drilling results of the various projects being released in early 2017. My question is: do they not have an obligation to release material findings as soon as they have it? My other question is on the strong volume last Friday of 50 Million shares being traded, about 30x the average daily volume. Does that indicate anything? Would a large buyer normally average in?
Q: Hi 5i - what do you think of Tahoe Resources going forward? I see it had a 220 million dollar unusual expense last year that hurt it's numbers. Do you know what that was for?
Thanks and Merry Christmas to the 5i team!

Q: A few days ago it was announced that the go ahead for Argonaut Gold's San Antonio project had been declined by the authorities. According to one report this should not materially affect their production. Am just wondering what your feeling is about this event. Also do you have any other updates on the existing production and exploration potential of the company. The price has dropped substantially and I am considering buying more. Thanks.
Q: Comments Please
Q: Hi Team, I would appreciate any information you can provide on the continuing sharp decline in Arizona's share price and whether you feel the situation may improve in the near term.
Thank you, John

Q: Why is the stock halted ?
Q: What do you think of Premier Gold? The share price has declined a lot compared to other gold companies. Do you know why the downtrend since the summer?
Q: Hi Team,
Recognizing that CEF.A is about 60% gold and 40% silver, which do you prefer, 100% Central Fund splitting between Mint (MNT - gold) 60% and Mint (MNS - silver) 40% for bullion?
Thank you.
Michael

Q: Physical gold is down to levels last seen in February. I get it that it can always go lower, but is there anything about the price of gold alone that sets a defacto floor (analogously to book value for a business), or is it too much at the mercy of dollar strength, etc., to think of in this way?
Q: Hi,
Can you share any updated information on Teck resources. It's had a bit of a pullback. Have the fundementals changed? Would it be a good entry point now?
Thank you

Q: Hi Team, newbie here....I'd like to add about 5% precious metals to my portfolio in the form of an ETF or Mutual Fund. can you make some suggestions?
Q: Good morning Peter and Team,
If you were purchasing today, what stocks and/or ETFs would you buy for each of the TSX eleven sectors? (Consumer Discretionary, Consumer Staples, Energy, Financials, Healthcare, Industrials, Information Technology, Materials, Real Estate, Telecom, and Utilities). Please give at least two choices for each sector.
My daughter-in-law has finally sold her high-MER, low-performing mutual funds, and I have set up a self-directed account for her LIRA, her RRSP, and her TFSA. She is 48 and will probably work till at least 65.
Please feel free to deduct as many question credits as you deem necessary. Thanks in advance for all your valued assistance.
