Q: I need to get access to a data base such as Compustat in order to back test an investment thesis. I have been able to get data (EBITDA, Revenue from operations, Good Will, Total Assets) for 2018 and 2019. I would like to access data back to 1998 for all NYSE and NASDAQ companies.
Results for 2019 are 57.37% and 2020 YTD22.46 %.

These questions are in response to your answer to Paul's question a bit earlier today. I, too, received shares of Viatris representing a fraction of a percent of our total equity portfolio. Under normal circumstances you tend to recommend not holding less than a 1% position. Also, I was unaware that VTRS would consider initiating a dividend. As an Income-focussed investor, that is interesting to me.
Rightly or wrongly, I tend to think of these shares as being "free" in a sense, so I am open to a variety of actions.
Now to the questions:
1. Given the foregoing, would 1% be reasonable to you? Your comment referenced "to a point", but that is not a metric that helps make an informed decision. Given the heavy debt load, what would you anticipate that "point" being for the average investor?
2. Given the heavy debt load, is it reasonable to expect VTRS to proceed with initiating a dividend this early? Might they not want to reduce debt first?
3. Would you recommend just holding on to the existing shares for a while to see how things play out before adding or selling?

Q: What is your current thoughts on AHC (Apollo Healthcare previously known as Acasta Enterprise)? This stock is up over 400% since August. The last question was in February 2019 after it completed debt to equity conversion. Per its last quarterly financial statements (Sep 30, 2020), they have retired their long term debt ($31M). Revenue was $90.1M. Earnings last quarter was .38c. Current P/E is 5.49. In the M&A, Mgmt indicated the current year increased profitability due to its demand for cleanser and sanitizer products. Do you think this growth sustainable post COVID?

Q: Are you familiar with this company? The company operates in the laboratory testing segment, supplying testing services to hospitals ,oncologists ,etc. please comment

Q: Hi there. After listening to the cc and investor say as well as the Q&A here, it would seem that a major growth area for REAL to land a tier one bank in the US and once done leverage the refi platform to go for originations in T&C. My question is, would the completion of an agreement with said bank(S) be considered material or would it only be communicated in quarterly financials?

I read that a Great Reset is being engineered and apparently discussed at the World Economic Forum.
Is this one of the useless conspiracy theories or it it real?
These Trillions of dollars of debt cannot be wound down in a meaningful fashion and hence the reset?

Q: You may or may not know the answer but i am hoping to transfer some of my stocks to my grandkids at some point before i die. (i might as watch them enjoy it while i can). is there a most efficient way to transfer stocks between two individuals? i was under the impression they had to be sold to transfer the funds but i have seen several posts about 'inheriting' shares. i assumed that most of the 'inheriting' was coming from registered retirement accounts or RIFS.

We are considering tax loss selling ENB -- we've only lost about 8% on ENB. This is because of the trend towards renewables. We don't rely on the dividend, although it is quite good at over 10%. You said ENB plans to continue to increase the dividend going forward. But if the stock price doesn't rise as a result of policies of the new US Administration, or if it goes down, would that cause ENB to reconsider their high dividend? What would cause ENB to adjust the dividend? It is a nice buffer to a drop in share price.

We are also interested get concerned and and replacing it with SEDG. You mentioned on 3 Nov that you "would consider it a 'slow' buy with a partial position into the decline. The shareholder base may churn a bit on these results and it might stay week for a month or so." Do you still hold to this view?
Given the renewables trend, we are considering moving from ENB to SEDG.

Q: Hi Guys, I was thinking of putting this ETF in my TFSA for some monthly income. I was wondering if there would be a withholding tax applied if it is in a TFSA because of the US content. Q: I invest in companies that have a track record of growing dividends. A chunk of my portfolio is invested in Canadian bank stocks which up to this year had a nice record of increasing dividends. In 2020 TD and RY did increase early in the year - but Covid brought a halt to increases from BMO and BNS. When do you think the banks will begin to think about increases - is 2021 too early and does OFSI (or whatever they are called) have a say and will they disallow.
