Q: I have a 5% position in cash, and am looking at the above three positions for medium term growth (1-3 years). I understand that these have different risk factors, but taking risk out of the equation, would you split the position, and if so, how. Thanks!

Q: The dividend currently appears to be at an all-time high. Are there currently any concerning factors that Telus might reduce its dividend? If you believe that the stock is not likely to lower its dividend, what would be the factors that would lead to a dividend decrease? And what would need to happen for Telus to lower its dividend?
Thank you very much for your insights and guidance

Q: Hello 5i team,
I am wondering if I should add (or sell) to these two stocks since they are down significantly. Telus is down because of the TIXT forecast. How much of TIXT is owned by Telus? T is almost at where I purchased the stock so my question is if there is a better telco I should purchase other than Telus for income?
Also what is the reason that NBLY is down so much? Is it simply market patience or is there something more fundamental that investors do not like about this stock?
Thank You,
Andrew

Hamilton Utilities YIELD MAXIMIZER TM ETF (UMAX)
Q: Just noticed that management fee of HDIV is 0.65, but MER is 2.39. Management fee for HMAX and UMAX is 0.65, but MERs are unstated presumably because it's early days. Do you expect that the MERs of HMAX and UMAX will be over 2%?
Q: Looking to invest in rental properties. Best recommendation for a 5 year return? TCN and/or CAR.UN or other choices?
Q: What is your take on CRE? I'm more interested in the specifics of the company rather than the Lithium sector in general if possible.
Q: What do you think of RIVN now after its 2nd Quarter announcement?
Q: Is this decent holding for the next 5 years as it is starting to move up? I have held it for 4.5 years and am down 16% but well up on non-taxable distribution. Thanks, James
Q: Hoping for your thoughts and input on this junior tech and clean tech company (EXRO:CA) It seems they are on the cusp of big things, with ongoing contracts signed for their products, including Linamar recently and, and another global auto OEM still under a non disclosure agreement. Would now be a good time to buy in. Thank you!

Q: BAM, BEP and EIF are each at about 2.7% of my total holdings. I can top up one to 5%. Which would you choose and why? And if the answer is 'none of the above', please suggest two Canadian companies with dividends >4% with some growth you would recommend, irrespective of sector. (T, NPI and SU already held and not wishing to increase my investment here at this time.) Thank you.
Q: Good day,
Can I please have your updated analysis of Equinix? I have read all past questions on this stock dating back to 2016. Many of your responses mentioned high debt levels, low inside ownership and high valuation. Are these still factors? I have a small position but am trying to decide whether to add to make it a more meaningful position.

Q: There has been a few questions over the years and recently on stock weightings and sector weightings. This is my story. My portfolio has 92 % in technology and 8 % in financial services with a total of 10 companies. One stock is 39% of the overall stock value. I use the theory of buying the best of the best and hold forever. I am very happy with my choice of asset allocations and don’t see the need for change. I am 67 years old and my average gain, for the last 14 years has been slightly more 21% per year. My thoughts is that if you are happy and know the risks don’t change - I am happy with my selections. I read 4 to 5 hours every day on the specific stocks, sectors and political articles. I look at stock charts weekly. Anything that might affect my stocks or the stock market, I read. Last year my portfolio dropped almost 40 % but this year I am up more than 60 %. In summary stick within your comfort zone. Clayton

Q: The S&P is now 25% above the low of October. Based on the statistics from previous recoveries ( you had an interesting report on these, which I can't find) where are we (likely) now? Near top of recovery phase or with significant room to run?? Thanks Jim
Q: In your opinion which company offers the best rate of return over the next 5 years?
Q: Hi, Thanks for sharing your recent views on Telus, based on the T/TIXT, reduced guidance. In your opinion, and based on recent commentary, how long it might take for TIXT to overcome the pressure on its revenues/profits and in turn, stop being a drag on its parent Telus ? The issue is that even if Telus continues to report great numbers for its core business, TIXT pressure will likely keep a lid on share price of Telus and dividend alone will not be enough to cover it.
Considering the opportunity cost of the capital for this time period, we would like to offload full or at least half of our position, over next few days, in 2/3 tranches.
Based on the technicals/charts, what is the price range, you would use to liquidate ?
Thank You
