Q: I want to increase my holdings in real estate as a contrarian play, and also increase my received dividends.
I am looking at SOT.UN and it has an expected dividend of over 9% and earnings that are more than double that. It made a deal with Fortis recently, and Fortis received shares as part of the deal. I figure Fortis is pretty astute. I would be interested in your opinion.
Is there anything to read into the fact that no questions have been asked about this company on your website. I like to buy things whilst they are still "under the radar"?

Q: I hold this from last year {2015} when in the model portfolio. I am still down but if momentum is any indicator should I continue to hold or sell and( move into maybe SJ also 2.5% currently.) FM has come back big time to a 2% position from an original 2.5%.

Q: Dream Office REIT is underperforming the REIT index especially recently. It has been trying to improve the balance sheet but is again down today after publicity over a possible sale of part of Scotia Tower. It seems to be very unloved.I have been waiting for a better price to sell with some frustration. Is there hope for better sentiment and price? Thanks for your opinion

Q: Hello Team, I am looking at an Income Portfolio and thinking about adding either PIC.PR.A or PIC.A or both, but I am leaning on PIC.PR.A that distributes a 5.75% steady dividend distribution. Q: I am currently moving some of my portfolio from stocks to ETF's. I want only a plain vanilla flavoured portfolio. I have been going through your questions and answers regarding ETF's, and given the diversity of situations and dates, I am getting a little confused. i wonder if you could suggest the best for broad canada, broad U.S., and international?

Q: Hi, I don't understand the signfificance of todays press release, since they talk about different share classes? Did the founders just sell a lot of their inside holdings? I'm a bit nervous since phm founders dumped their stock - is this at all a similar situation?
