Both GLXY and LMN have been clobbered as of late. If you were to initiate a new position in only one with the focus on growth for the next 3 years which would you side with?
This would be for a higher risk tolerant investor.
Thanks as always for all you do!
Q: This is about the blog post Revolutionizing AI – The Powerhouse GPUs Fueling the AI Breakthrough. It's an excellent article. If it hadn’t been for Denis’s question and the link you provided in your response, I would never have come across it.
By the way, when I try to find this article myself by browsing the Blog section, I can’t seem to locate it. Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks!
Q: hi folks, thoughts on Q3 results for Blacksky, Bksy/q....do you still like it? or is there to much uncertainty in their Sector....looks like stock going to take a hit, thx jb
I have kept MGNI for a long time and saw my profits disappear badly. Every positive momentum seems to go out of steam quickly. It has been going down with high volume in the past 3 months. Is it time to let go of MGNI? If the answer is yes, would you sell it to add to HOOD or AFRM? And why? I am open to other growth-y suggestions.
Thanks for all the good work and support you are offering 5i community.
Q: Hello, I am comparing SCHF (Schwab International Equity ETF) vs
VXUS )Vanguard Total International Stock Index Fund ETF Shares) for
a core international long term hold in my TFSA. I noticed that SCHF is not in your database. Please give my your opinion on these two etfs.
Q: Hello 5i,
Just a personal opinion pertaining to Grant’s question around physical silver and gold.
I have been selling some of my R.C.M. silver and gold coins into the recent rally.
Due to their purity, I have had no issues with GST/HST to date.
I would recommend buying 99.999% purity, and also to research buying options as the Mint can be expensive, imho. As well, where practical, try to buy in larger quantities, say 1/4 oz., and higher.
Finally, wafers or bars may be preferable to many Mint coins which may not provide as good a return, given that they seem to sell with a “numismatic premium” from what I have seen.
Just my “2 cents” worth….
Cheers,
Mike
Q: While I agree that the conference call explained the more conservative approach for the time being, I believe it also noted that (several) news are imminent regarding new products and geographic areas, which will hopefully re-accelerate growth. Do you hear the same??
Q: Hello!
Now that I’ve reached the age of RRIF withdrawals, I’m looking more closely at income and therefore at covered-call ETFs.
I understand that these instruments don’t fully share in the upsides, but the income of ETFs like EIT, TXF and ZWU is pretty solid.
I’ve also been looking at UMAX its unbelievable 14% yield, but I also see that the unit price has declined quite dramatically over the last few years.
So questions are, how do you feel about these ETFs for income? And if you’re okay with them, which would you recommend?
Thanks for all your help
Michael
Q: hello 5i:
can you explain how FTAI is going from and EPS of -.32 FY2024, to a projected EPS of 4.87 FY2025? This looks like an almost unbelievable turnaround. I see future growth is quite impressive. Can you add any other comments to this company?
thanks
