Q: I recently bought a half position each in DR & SIA. After the Q1 reports released by both, I am considering selling DR and going to full position in SIA. Your thoughts please.

I am a bit confused. In their Financials they reported Diluted net earnings per share of $1.12

TD Direct reports the Q1 EPS at $0.20

Why the huge difference ?

Q: Intrinsyc technologies reported Q1 results. It appears to be really strong revenue growth once again. This TSX-listed technology stock deserves much more attention. What is your opinion?

Any thoughts on the report earlier on Wednesday by CBL? Thoughts on earnings and the commentary which suggested that they could have been more aggressive would be appreciated. Best guess on how the market reacts and would you change a position or open/close a position?

Q: Hi,
My brother is a Primerica agent (err..salesperson). Im not big on Primerica as a company at all. He keeps pushing though about this large cap fund ( http://www.fidelity.ca/cs/Satellite/en/public/products/mutual_funds/equity_funds/cdn_equity/bu) supposed to have great long term returns. One of the things I don't like about this is the management rate of 2.28%.
Im not an active investor, but have some exposure to real estate (through reits) and a little finance through CM.
I am young and have tfsa savings and want to invest in long term growth (etfs maybe?). Could you offer some recommendations on good long term low cost, passive investments?
