Q: Hi there. I have accumulated about 4K in cash in my TFSA that I am looking to place in either 1 or 2 growth options. This is would represent about 15% of portfolio. I'm 35 so risk tolerance is fine.

Currently have GUD, AQN, KXs, LNR, VEE, and FIRE

Would US exposure be a good plan given the current exchange rate and diversification?

Thanks

Q: Hello team,
Which one has the most downside risk? Which one has the most upside potential? Which one you would buy today and why? Would you consider all three as buy-and-forget kind of stock for the next five years? (Everyone is waiting for a correction, if not a market crash, and I am afraid of causing one by finally accepting to invest a bit.)
Thank you as always!

Q: Good morning gentlemen,

I have fairly large gains in the fang stocks as well as with Apple. With the Nasdaq taking its second consecutive beat down today, Would you be inclined to take profits. With Apple being down close to 8 percent in two days ( due to downgrades, ostensibly), in your experience. Does a stock like this rebound the following day? Also, do you think the sector shift away from tech could be an enduring trend?

All of the aforementioned positions are at 5-6 percent holdings.

What I'm getting down to is : sell today, or wait for a rebound ? I understand the former involves a degree of market timing, but surely with your many years in the industry, you must have some flair for such events.

With much appreciation,
Karim Rahim

Q: HELP, I am a confused investor trying to sort out the world of Technology stocks. What I would like is a meaningful way to categorize technology companies, particularly US tech. co's. For example:
PFPT is a security provider.
TSM and AVGO are semiconductor co's.
NVDA does graphics
IBM is an IT co.
5iR Team help.....could you breakdown internet tech into some subcategories and perhaps give me a US stock name for each that would allow me to do some research. In other words I see the forest but help me name the trees.
Thanks team. Chris

Q: For US tech I own NVDA,BIDU, FB and GOOG. BIDU has been underperforming and I am wondering about your opinion of it from a growth perspective. I am considering selling it and adding to the others.

Q: Hello Peter,
Facebook announced great results;however, the stock hardly moved. Any comments? For gold, would you consider kirkland lake and detour as long term holds in that sector. Also, constellation software after the article in the globe has taken a step back. Is it good time to add more? Thanks very much
