Q: I notice sometimes you suggest selling after a security rises quickly and sharply, but for the most part suggest selling related to fundamental changes or portfolio weighting.

For shopify my weighting is fine, but has risen $36 to $51 quickly. With limited info that it's around 3.5% of a diversified portfolio, is this one to take a little off the table or let ride given fundamentals & weighting?

Q: I found a PREFERRED SHARE listing put out by CIBC Wood Gundy that shows the yield, the price, the reset dates, and reset yields. I have found this very helpful but I don't believe it is a complete listing. I contacted BMO Investorline but their searches weren't helpful. Do you know a site where I can find this information. Q: What are your thoughts on the earnings of the above companies - Emera just bumped up their dividend by 10% and results looked good. Results were good for Fortis and Enercare also. All 3 have exposure to US.

I currently hold Enercare and am looking to add more weight for long term (20+ years) to utilities. Any recommendations ?

Im curious questrade has lower commission fees and and dont charge buying etf, only when you sell. Do they have the same coverage with stocks and etf with other brokers? Im with TD and thinking to switch to questrade. Your opinion please.

Q: Hi Guys,
My Consumer Cyclical allocation is 29% of my portfolio, the companies are CCL.B 4%, DIS 3.5%, HD 3.5%, SBUX 3.5%, BYD.UN 2%, GIL 2%, AW.UN 2%, MG 2%, CGX 2%, DHX.B 1%, AYA 1%, BOS 1%, NFI 1%.
I am holding AYA until the sale of the company and the only stock which I am below water on is BOS. Looking forward to your advice.
