Q: What would be your pick right now for a tech stock for the long-term in a RRSP (3+ years)? Can you provide a few names in order of preference?

Q: In an answer to Jerry this morning 5i stated that TFII had $5 billion in US revenue ..... What percentage of their total revenue is that ? I assume the balance is in Canada ? In another question a member asked ranking nine stocks for return potential over the next five years. 5i ranked TFII third. So I'm guessing 5i isn't as frightened of these tariff threats as I am . Is my assumption correct ? Thanks for your terrific service ......

Q: Hi Peter
1. Dividendhistory.org shows about 1% lower yield for bepc vs bep.un. is it correct.
2. It also shows that for bep.un, the dividend was reduced several times. Is this correct or were shareholders allocated shares in a split off?
3. Is bep.un / bepc a low / average price now?
Would you chip away or but a full position now?

Q: What would your opinion be on selling US stocks held in US funds (or moving cash) from a US account over to CAD account to realize the immediate ~40% fx gain (maybe it's not that simple, please advise)? Assuming there's options in the Canadian equities market that are just as good as that on the American side, I'm having a hard time rationalizing why this is a bad idea. Thoughts?

Q: Hi 5i Team - Constellation Software is a company that has never issued shares beyond their initial IPO. I'm pretty sure this applies to LMN and TOI as well but could you confirm. In all three, is there any possibility of them issuing more shares in the future.
Also could you name a few other companies that have never issued shares, Canadian, U.S., any size market cap, any sector.

Q: I have $100,000 of cash in an investment account, am looking for some conservative ETF’s with 1/3 going to fixed income, same to Cdn Equity and balance to Global. Any suggestions? Given the trade war with the USA, I might sit on the sidelines for a few weeks so ny thoughts on best way to invest the cash with good liquidity. I was looking at HISA ETF’s but they are very low currently.

Q: I am a retired investor and am concerned of the current state of the Markets in Canada and US.
While we go back and forth on tariffs one thing is becoming clear, the next four years will be filled with uncertainty and disruption. I am hopeful that common sense will prevail and we can move forward in a positive and productive manner, but who knows!!

Given the uncertainty around the current markets and another deadline in 30 days, is there sectors that you would avoid right now or lighten up on? How should investors prepare for this period of uncertainty?
