Q: Happy Friday.
AGX is on a positive run today. I went looking for some news but can't find anything at all. Can you add any insite to this tale?

I also ran across a Cdn fin-tech stock WERX that is new to me. Do you have it on your small cap radar. I couldn't find any financials or analyst following it.
Thanks. P. S. The AI report is fabulous.

Q: Many of the questions you receive are similar in nature and often are subsequently asked again by another subscriber.
Examples would be: “what are your top 5 CAD stocks or USD stocks; or favourite AI stocks ….” “Top 3 sectors for 2026” etc.

I like the way you have categorized the questions on the sidebar.
However I can’t find anything there that captures those types of similar, frequently asked questions.

If i have overlooked it please let me know how I can find them other than scrolling through days and weeks of questions to find those types of questions and answers.

Thanks again.

PA: And by the way your report on AI yesterday is outstanding both for the breadth of its coverage and the detail on stocks or funds in each category. Fabulous material and clearly a VALUE ADDED differentiator in favor of 5i. BRAVO.

Q: Cogeco has by far the lowest market cap of the telcos, yet its share price dwarfs the big players. Can you explain this? Please rank these companies from least to most risk if purchased now.

Q: Hello to the 5i crew. Are lumber prices on the upswing? The reason I ask is that I still have a half position in Western forest Products (WEF) and it has gone from dead money to up about 25 per cent in 2026. I did notice that the big boy in North American lumber WFG is up a bit as well. So what's up? The home builders are not really blazing ahead with housing starts and the whole forestry industry seems moribund! So why are lumber stocks getting a bit of a lift? Is there something percolating under the surface that us little retail guys can't see? If my shares in WEF were in a taxable account I would have sold them in December but they are in a RSP. Should I count myself lucky and get out of WEF after this upswing or is there something going on that might make it go higher?

Q: Hi There, I am interested in considering buying TTP and/or TQCD ETF's for my NonReg account. TTP is the passive Canadian index and TQCD is supposedly actively managed. Is there somewhere that can provide me information on the tax efficiencies of these two ETF's. I would like to get an idea of how they might impact my yearly tax return. Many thanks.

Q: What do you think of WGS? After the pullback the fundamentals don't seem so high anymore for a high flyer. 5.5x 2026 revenue, 70% margin. Would you pick them over GRAL?

Q: Hi 5i, a member referred to useful articles that you published on all-in-one ETF's.
Could you please point these articles out.
Thanks, and keep up your great work in 2026.

Q: Have you had a chance to read Chuck Akre’s (Akre Capital) recent commentary on Constellation Software and the impact of AI?
He describes the current market uncertainty as a test of conviction, comparing the volatility to the "Gom Jabbar" test from Dune. What strikes me most is his conclusion: far from being a threat, AI appears to be an "advantageous wind" that reinforces the three pillars of their model, especially their reinvestment economics.
Do you agree with Akre that the market is underestimating CSI’s ability to turn this technological "pain" into a long-term competitive advantage? Thanks

Q: Hello and thanks for a great service. I'm in a high tax bracket and have never utilized Flow Through's. What do you think of them and how would you do your due diligence on them?

Q: I don't know who else to ask on this one. I trade on both TD Waterhouse and NBDC. On occasion, I find them giving quite different stock readouts. For example, right now, it's 12:52PM on Jan 19. NBDB is showing VXM at 49.80 -08% with a bid/ask of 48.77-50.92. TD is showing it at 50.79 +1.84% with a bid ask of 50.25-50.92. How can they have such widely different quotes?

I realize NBDB doesn't show live quote on its main page, but it does when you bring up the buy/sell pop-up. So these quotes should be identical. But this is not the first time I've found such wide ranges.
