Q: Hi there,

I have traded these in the past with good results. I am wondering if there is an entry point on either that you would consider to be too good to pass up. It could be for a trade with 10% upside or long term hold but I would appreciate if you could share the price point at which you would consider it a must add.

After last Q and another misfire by Dorsey, analysts have ratings from sell to buy, with Targets ranging from $9 to $25. Q: Hi Team

Certain companies such as BEP, AQN pay dividends in 'US" dollars. What is the significance to me?

Is there a foreign holding tax on the dividend ? (like for an american equity)


does my taxation change, is there an advantage to holding it an RRSP versus non registered account.

I am with BMO investorline and I think they pay it out converted back to canadian dollars, is that the financial industry way or is it possible to keep it in us dollars ?

Q: Greetings, Peter and Co.
I have been trying to evaluate the MacDonald Dettwiler-Digital Globe merger. The termination fee arrangements appear to be compelling for Digital Globe and punitive for MDA. The SEDAR filing appears to require a much larger break fee for MDA and there appear to be many events that could trigger the $150 million break fee.
Can you clarify if this agreement is as bad as I interpret it to be?
My family and I are MDA investors and were considering adding to our holdings.

Q: I have subscribed to your 5i Research for a few years and have never learned more throughout my years of investing than I have learned over the few years with you. A question that I should know the answer to is a term used at BNN and by you all the time is a stock is trading at 10 times earnings. Does this mean it takes $10.00 of earnings for the shares to go up a dollar? Thank you. Dennis

Q: Article "Boomers Stuck in an Unfunded Liability"
Thanks for sharing this insightful piece. Could you please provide your view on this article. Do you generally concur with the premise that demographics and retirees/investors return requirements in a low interest rate environment is essentially creating an underlying put on risk assets that could perpetuate for years/decades to come. Also, could this imply a flatter than normal yield curve going forward as short term Fed rate hikes could be mitigated by pension demand at the long end, benefiting both mid to long term bonds and high yielding stocks. Also, I didn't see the name of the author of the article? Any idea who wrote it? Thank-you
