Q: Thanks for the good advice on keeping AAH after the merger was announced. Should I still hold AAH or better to go with with Mnw? When does the sale close?

Q: Hi,

I need your advice on this. At the current price of 8.72 per MNW share, AAH should be worth (6.52/0.957 cash + 3.6 MNW Shares * 8.72) $38.2 but it is trading at $37.05. Also if I hold 200 MNW shares for total cost of $1,744 and the price goes to $12 I will have $2400 or 37.6% gain but If I hold AAH instead, for the same $1,744 I get 47.07 shares which at the $12 MNW price would be worth $2,353 or a gain of 34.9%. Based on this after a certain price of MNW shares, it is better to hold MNW instead of AAH. Do you agree?

Q: re. Enwave (ENW-V) vs Urthecast (UR-T)

Analysts on BNN have recommended both stocks in the past few weeks. I fully understand that both generate little, or no, revenue and that any investment would be purely speculative in nature. My question is which co. are you more favorably inclined towards and why?

Thanks for your efforts on behalf of myself and other retail investors.

Q: re. EXFO Inc. (EXF-T)

I have a number of questions about EXFO Inc. First, what is your current opinion and insights about this company? I would also appreciate an explanation of their technology in layman terms. Finally, what is their competitive position in their industry?

Thanks, as usual, for your efforts on my behalf and, of course, other retail investors.

Q: When trying to evaluate the earnings per share and growth rate for a high tech co., do you look at the EPS, the Net Income/sh, the EBITDA/sh or perhaps something else? Would this apply to most other sectors as well? I'm under the impression that for O&G producers Funds From Operations is more important and perhaps for other sectors Free Cash Flow?
Thank you.

Q: MSFT- I held this one for a while and sold at $32 due to poor Q results and negative street view. It has steadily moved up to over $38 on what news? Announced to-day a deal to share software code through another tech company the ramifications of which I have no idea going fwd as it pertains to MSFT's EPS. I'd like to own a software stock and I am wondering if I should wait on this one as it pays a decent dividend with room to go higher??
