Q: Hi Peter, new to your service and really finding it informative. I've been looking for an opportunity to buy Points International (PTS) all summer, their quarter looked solid to me, is this sell off a good chance as a long-term entry point?
Q: Good Morning Peter and Team,
My question is about Avigilon (AVO- TSX). At first I could not understand why it was rated B+. It seemed so extremely expensive. Now I fully understand. I have learned from 5i Research that the great growth companies almost never get cheap. From your vast experience how do you think the AVO story will play out over the next 3-5 years ??? Thank you. DL
Q: "Watch financings. Stay away from most companies that issue stock at lower levels than the last financing. This is horrible for shareholder value." From your answer this AM would this apply to AVO "have agreed to purchase, on a bought deal basis pursuant to the filing of a short form prospectus, an aggregate of 2,489,800 Common Shares at a price of $24.10 per Common Share (the "Offering Price") for aggregate gross proceeds to Avigilon of $60,004,180."
Q: Hi
Great service.
Regarding AVO: would you still be buying at this price for a longer term hold (3 years), or wait for a pullback.
Do you think this could be a takeout candidate in the future?
Thanks once again.
Hersh
Q: thanku to everyone there for your great advise, my question to u is, do u think mechatronics and robots companies are good stocks to invest in as well as computer and it companies. could u advise me of any good ones to buy.
Q: Hi team, I bought AVO on Monday after looking at your recommendations, for $20, nice pop today. I bought for the long term but 25% in two days is reasonable. I can't find the pop reason, any news? Earnings, takeover. Your research/ideas are just terrific. Many thanks.
Q: Hi Peter,
Almost ready to throw in the towel, wave the white flag on Wilan. I only hang on because of your comments. What do you think of earnings etc...Still hang on?
Thanks as always, you guys are wonderful.
Q: I bought Blackberry on the way down over the past few weeks to average down cost per share and thus my potential loss if the $9.00 per share offer worked out. We now know the sale to Fairfax didn't happen. Would it be wise for me to now sell all of my stock, and wait 30 days to get the tax loss, and re-evaluate at that time if I even dare to entertain owning shares in Blackberry ever again? Surely even if Mr Chen is a miracle worker it would be unlikely to happen that fast. comments please
Q: Any comments on the new release by PHM? Their results look pretty impressive, though not much visibility on next quarter. what would you need to see to warrant a buy rating?
With the recent drop in Amaya, which it sounds like relates to the previous financing, where do you see the floor on the current selling? I am looking to take a half position, although, I'm tempted to wait until the stock stabilizes.

Q: Hi,
With regards to your reply to my question on RDL, in one of the previous posts you said that it has fallen a lot considering the CEO departure. With regards to the cashflow being negative, how do we find this information. Is it becuase their revenue in the next quarter is going down. Should that not be factored into the prices when the news came out on 29 October. I purchased this at 4.30 so I am losing nearly half the value and wondering what went wrong.
Q: I have a question about Wi-Lan Inc. The price closed at $3.46 today and an exit would seem in order. Is it best to cash out now or wait and see if further developments give a little boost to the price.
