Q: I have a position in ENB at $48. If you were selling a covered call on this security, what strike price and expiry date would you select?. The goal would be not to have the position called away. The pending clarification relative to future dividend increase rates is one element that needs to be considered.
Thanks!
Q: Good Morning Peter, Ryan, and Team,
I have a bit of cash in an account that very closely tracks the "Balanced Equity Portfolio". My weightings in GUD and CLS are a bit light now due to their share's pulling back. Both stocks look cheap to me and tax loss selling season is likely helping to suppress them. I would appreciate your opinion of adding to these two names. Thank you for your sage advice. DL
Q: Was doing some research on COV and noticed back in 2007 timeframe the stock was in the mid thirty dollar range. Is that accurate and was it just mis management which caused the decline? They have very strong products and I like the addition to the growth portfolio but was curious about the past.
Q: The last 2 days NFI announced the opening of a sales & service centre in N California plus spending $28m to establish a plant in Kentucky.Such big capital expenditure. Is this partially responsible for the decline this week &/or other reasons? Thanks for u usual great services & view

Q: I currently owned TV, CS and MX for Material stocks. I would like to add one more in a LIRA account. I only have enough cash for one stock. Should I add Stella Jones or Agnico Eagle Mines. The only accounts I have is a RRSP and LIRA but have 20 years yet to retirement.
Thanks
Q: Hello: I wonder if you could tell me the number of shares held for each of the securities in the Balanced Equity Model Portfolio as of today. I would like to set up my own version of the BEP in Yahoo, and without number of shares, I won't be able to monitor anything. I like to compare my portfolio with the BEP so that, for example, if my portfolio takes a sudden dip but the BEP also does, it gives me a little bit of relief. Not exactly "schadenfreude," but I don't worry too much because I feel I'm in good company. Take as many question credits as is appropriate. Thank you
Q: I bought 1/2 a position in this and it is now down 5%. Should I bump it up to a full position or is this a stock one should only hold 1/2 a position in?
Also, what percentage of a portfolio do you suggest one have in financials?

Q: I would like to complete my balanced portfolio. To do so I need to buy AEM, AIF, ATD.B, BYD.UN, CCL.B, CLS,CSU,MX,PKI,SYZ, WCP,WSP
Are there any concerns here or should I just pull the trigger and buy them?
Should I buy in equal weights or match the percentage weights in the portfolio?
Are there any here I should take a pause on and wait?
Thanks for your help!
Q: I am planning to get out of a full position in ZCL. I have partial positions in the other 4 above, thinking of topping up on 2 or 3 of them. Does this make sense and what would be your preference?? Thanks Jim
Q: Hi, just read your article on itchy trigger fingers, and I agree with you.But I could not understand why you would sell ZCL on there quarterly results? I thought up till there last quarter everything looked fine, and you were recommending the stock?
