Q: Could I have your opinion on KIV as a play for an eventual uranium recovery. I have a position now, and am a bit underwater, wondering if I should hold or move on.

Q: Could you give me some history on why & when FNV started dealing in Oil/Gas royalties?? Their present break-down by revenue is 17% oil/gas royalties. Also, are FNV,OR,SSL,RGL valued by Enterprise Value/Free Cash Flow?? Pierre Lassonde says that analysts don't assign any value from the fact that FNV gets a free perpetual option on discoveries made on the land by the operators, and FNV gets a free perpetual option on the price of gold. Do you agree with this?
Q: Hello,
What is your current view on Uranium and which mid size companies would you recommend if the sector rebounds. thanks Clare

Q: Hi, I've been holding Yamana and Kinross for several years in my RSP and am down 70% and 82% respectively. These are the only gold stocks I hold. I am leaning toward selling at least one of them and re-deploying the remaining capital. Which one would you let go? Or should I continue to hold both?
Seeing the RED unrealized losses staring back at me on the screen is demoralizing.
Thanks,

Q: Hi Peter and Team,
I've acquired Goldcorp, Franco-Nevada and Silver Wheaton in roughly equal proportions over the last 18 months or so. G is up 3.1%, SLW is up 18.2% and FNV is up 35.9%. I was thinking of selling G and splitting the proceeds equally between FNV and SLW since they seem to perform better. I realize G is an operating company and the two others are royalty streamers. Do you think I am better holding all three or focusing only on SLW and FNV? Taxes are not a consideration if I sell G. FNV and SLW would represent ~4% each in my portfolio (which is fine with me) if I make the switch. I realize I'd be giving up on some dividend yield if I sell G, but perhaps the dividend is not that safe anyway. Any thoughts you have would be appreciated.
Many thanks. Michael

Q: Could you please give me your opinion on this company. Thank you.
Q: Hi Team,
Can you please provide your thoughts on Altius and their recent announcement selling their equity shares in Virginia? I believe they are focusing on debt reduction with a plan to issue a dividend down the road. I have a position in my RRSP and would like to add a bit more with this recent pullback.
Thank you,
Erick

Q: Good day. My question is with regards to LSG. In the past this company had struggled given the cash demands of the massive infrastructure costs they encountered developing the Timmins West complex. This resulted in poor operating results and a share price that declined from $4.00 to 1.10 today. In fact it was down as far as .32. They have turned the corner and moving forward they are guiding 180,000 of production annually at an all in cost of $900.00 Canadian giving them a profit of say $500.00 per ounce so everything being equal 90M bottom line which would translate into a 5 to 7 forward PE. A cash machine so to speak. That said they are currently doing a significant amount of work on the exploration side which they had lacked given the financial situation in the past. They have defined very interesting areas and it would not be surprising for them to add 1M OZ. to reserves in the next 3 to 6 months. In the event that this would happen my question is how would this effect the NPV and the share price given the aforementioned operating metrics?
Thank You
Thank You
Q: I sold my Barrick yesterday after owning it for almost 20 years. Not because I thought the price would drop, but because I just couldn't stand the pain (and mismanagement) any longer! I'd like to replace it with another gold stock (just for diversification). I know you like Goldcorp but I find AEM interesting and like the idea of it seemingly having much lower geo risk than G given the locations of its mines. Does your preference for G already factor in such risks? Or do you think the risks are overblown? Your comments appreciated!
Q: Your opinion on MKN.TO I realize it is hi-risk
but could this co. hold some potential?
Thank you for your opinion.

Q: Dear Sirs,
I am looking for your opinion on ANV and the odds of a restructuring happening in the next month or so - noting how their FX swap has moved against them in additon to having an impaired balance sheet, could equity holders be out of luck?
thanks
Brad

Q: Please comment on the quarterly results released today. I hold a 2% position, and am considering adding to this sector. Would Goldcorp remain your first choice?
Q: A while back I added Timmins to my portfolio, I didn't have any gold exposure, and it was doing well up until the recent merger with Newstrike Capital. I went from up about 20% to even money....what is your opinion of the merger...should I hold or get out?
Q: Please comment on eps and cfps reported today. Thanks
Q: Could you please comment on 2014 results and possibly elaborate a bit on the non- cash charges they list. I've owned this stock for some time and still think it will pay off some time in the future. What do you think? Thanks.
