Q: With so much media attention recently to the Middle East do you see investment potential there? If so is there one or 2 companies listed in the USA that you could recommend? Alternatively, perhaps you could suggest an etf.

Thanks

Q: I listened to a CIBC webcast today outlining the fact international equities were cheaper then US and possibly Canadian equities based on P/E ratios and are expected to outperform US and possibly Canadian equities in the near term. Interesting sectors discussed were international infrastructure companies, defense, e-commerce and semi-conductors. Could you provide a few Canadian ETF's that would provide exposure to these themes and list you favourite?
Thanks
Jeff

Q: CQLI Here is one I can not find much information that I am hoping you can shed some light on. The chart look good and the yield is over 20%. Looking for niche areas for a mid term places to place some cash with good returns until the clouds clear a bit.

Q: Hi, is there etf or something that invests in the Japanese trading houses that Warren Buffett seems to be such a fan of? Any way for Canadian investors to buy some shares? Thank you.

Q: Hi Peter and team,
European ETFs such as the ones listed above have a relatively high concentration of pharmaceuticals. With Trump's plans to curb such imports to the US, do you believe that this will be a headwind for these ETFs?
Your insight is greatly appreciated.

Q: Hi there. with the current economic outlook in the US being very uncertain and the dollar possibly weakening as the US economy struggles would you recommend any of these names? VGK, FEZ, or EZU? The idea being to build up a position of 10% of my portfolio over the next two or three quarters betting on Europe continuing to outperform the US. Thank-you.

Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
SAN has been on a positive run this year hitting a new high. I know you do not follow European Banks. However any info you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Apparently they are selling their Polish Bank. So do you think all the good news has been baked in? Do you think it has any more up side or will it plateau soon and maybe retreat? Thanks for your insights!

Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
I have read that some analysts are predicting a 90% chance of an economic slow down or some type of recession later this year. If this were to occur how do you think it would effect large European banks or insurance companies in general? Thanks for your insights...they always help!

Q: I would like to hedge my US Investments from a falling US dollar. I have USD cash to deploy and I am looking at IGOV the IShares International Treasury Bond ETF and BWX the SPDR Bloomberg International Treasury Bond ETF. What do you think of these ETF's as hedges to the USD, and do you have any alternative solutions? Thank you for your assistance.

Q: I believe in international diversification, but I am currently regretting the high weight I have put on US-dollar-denominated holdings in my portfolio. Given Trump's policies to date, his career record of welshing proudly on past debts and the years remaining in his term, I want to lower the weight substantially and invest in more European, British, Japanese, Australian and New Zealand assets instead, assets not denominated in US dollars. What ETFs do you suggest for this purpose?
