Q: Very disappointed in yet another 5i pick in the income portfolio down substantially until a final sell recommendation is released.
You state: "With declining equity markets, lower assets under management and increasing competitiveness in the Canadian financial industry, we have decided to sell Gluskin Sheff"
My question is, why did you recommend it in the first place? All the items applied when you decided to add it to the income portfolio. Seems another stock where you were simply chasing yield without dying proper DD.

Q: Hi, please comment on my method of transferring unwanted volatile stocks (nflx,vgt,itx,vmd) to safer div. options. I have placed 5% trailing sell orders with a 2% limit until sold or cancelled in order to capture more upside in this likely short bull rally.
Please suggest your best 5 core div. names in Canada, USA and international.

Q: Some market chatter from MT Newswires found on TD. It says: 'Crescat Capital sees the Canadian economy heading for recession as the housing market buckles. "That might be bad enough for the banks but they face an added strain: outside the financial sector, more than 80% of Canadian companies aren't generating enough cash to support their businesses, the highest in the world," according to Crescat.
"Canadian banks will be left holding the bag and the ones to suffer from what is likely to be a major economic recession," Tavi Costa, a global macro analyst at Denver-based Crescat, said by phone.'

I was wondering about these 2 issues they raised, especially about the lack of cash.
