Q: Hello Peter.
What is your opinion on the increasing operations ratio and the labour demands in the context of profitability. Do you think the growth in revenues would absorb the increased costs adequately enough to justify current valuation levels?

Q: News reports say Takeda is offering $66.20 in cash and stock for SHPG but stock currently trades at $160.16. Am I missing something? Aside from the takeover interest, is SHPG a good buy at this time

Q: The recent merger between AVE and Daseke Inc. has an "earnout" provision of up to .45 per share contingent upon Aveda achieving certain financial targets by May 31,2019.
If I sell my shares of AVE today, will I still be on record and entitled to any payout that may occur next year?

Q: Instead of Globe Investor watchlists, that have lost much of their utility, I now use the barchart.com watchlists, free for up to 20 watchlists. Plenty of useful features, mainly technical ones. If you call up a ticker on your watchlist the chart allows you to access a comparison chart with up to three other tickers (a feature that disappeared with the revamped Google Finance). The bottom of the main page lists recent news items. (I recommended Barchart to Globe Investor, and now the Globe's watchlists are based on barchart data...)
