Q: What is with this company they are now starting to get buy recommendations. Earlier this year they were at 2008 levels then took off the same as this year. With no buy recommendations in 2008 or first part of 2016. Is this a buy,sell or hold if already owned.

Q: I currently have Teck and have enjoyed the big run up this year though I am still down 10% as I bought in 2014. I know you are concerned about their debt so my question is would you continue to hold it? If not, can you recommend a similar stock (that pays > 1% dividend) to replace it.

Q: What is causing TCK.b to rise like it has recently? With it's high debt @ 4x cash flow as indicated in a previous Q it's confusing. I know u don't do price targets but can u see this going up much more?

Q: I note that TD Securities have today recommended Teck Resources as a Buy at $15.32. The 12 month target price is $17.00 and the stock is rated as "High Risk". With all respect, it's difficult to feel comfortable with this type of recommendation.
Am I missing something?

Q: issued over a billion dollars of debt today. I have a small position. I think 5i called this earlier in the year about an equity or debt offering

Q: 20 % plus move in TCK the last 2 trading sessions on heavy volume. This in a crap market. Might there be something going on or just a rally because of the low share price.

Q: Hi,

I know you mentioned Teck wasn't quite a buy yet back in December, but the stock has since been cut in half (again). Do you think it's a buy for the riskier part of a portfolio given it's strong near term liquidity, debt maturity profile (2017 onwards) and ability to raise cash via asset sales if it must.

The share price fall seems a bit overdone at these levels, but welcome your views.

Q: For those holding TCK.B and waiting for a recovery in commodity prices, do you feel the outlook for continuing to hold TCK.B improved when considering the 2015 Q3 report? Q: hi,
Could you please tell me how you feel about Teck Resources?
I'm down 47% and it represents 2.5% of my holdings (was 5%). It is the only "metals & coal" exposure I have.
I got out at $5 in 08/09n and painfully watched it get back to $60.
Do I just hold it and hope for a turnaround in the metals/coal sector?
