Q: Hi,

On Thursday there was a 10 Million block of shares traded near close on PEY.un. The volume for the day was more than 10x the average daily volume and the stock closed down. Is this something significant that should be noted by investors? Do your terminals provide any additional insight? Thank you for your comments.

Q: Just a comment. I feel that Sharesight is kinda expensive unless you have a 10 stock portfolio and I am interested in what other members think.

Q: Hello 5i,
From time to time a well performing company misses on earnings estimates in a quarter but it does not necessarily mean that its longer term good performance and potential growth will slow.
What was the cause of the poor earnings per share result. Was the reasons for this miss merely a temporary hiccup or perhaps a longer term issue. What conclusion should one draw from this quarter's results? Are the views about this company change from your September report? Is the growth by acquisition theme and potential remain intact. What can we expect to see from the company in the next 6 and 12 months. Should I continue to hold or sell at this time.

Q: Hi 5i,
We (senior investors and drawing from portfolios) have $173,000 in 2 TFSA accounts. We have $32,000 cash available in these accounts. Accounts currently hold AC, KXS, NFI, PHO, SIS, SHOP, and fixed income XBB and XHY. What would you suggest I look at to add to this mix at this time for long term holds. No cash is drawn from either TFSA .

Q: Under your old format I had an alert and a favourite list. How do I access them under the new format, if they are still available?
I read on November 30th on answering a question that you also provide charts. How do you access them?

Q: Hello,
I was reviewing the data available via TD Waterhouse including Thomson Reuters reports, and compared revenue and net income growth in the past 2 years of Amazon, vs Alibaba vs JD.com (all somewhat in the same industry but latter 2 in China).
My read is Alibaba and JD.com have significantly higher growth in both metrics than Amazon.

Q: Hi Team, Recently, JP Morgan listed these 5 US companies as their top AI picks. Would these be 5iR's top five US AI picks? If yes, then can you rank order the picks for me. Q: Is HAS.us a good company to have as a dividend grower and a reliable dividend payer? Out of the 10 years past, it has grown dividends in 7 ; its ROIC is 17%. Metrics APPEAR good ( do correct me if I am wrong).
Having been horribly burned in retail and consumer discretionary, I am cautious to put hard earned cash into HAS. Do you think its business model is sound for at least 4 or 5 years? Is it not hostage to consumer whims (if you forgive the leading nature of the last question). Do you think the risk-reward ratio ratio in HAS.us is good-- and, importantly, why please? What do you think of its prospects, both WITH Mattel and without. Your rigorous reasoning is always appreciated, many thanks
