Q: Today's news release, would you read it as a good news or bad news?
Q: Hi Peter, Is there a co-relation between growth factors and share price. MY screener shows some stocks with great growth ratios Like EPS, SALES AND INCOME growth in double digits but very poor performance ( LIF). Also, some with 2/3 negative growth ratios have stellar performance (BLX).
Am I missing something or the correlation is not straightforward? Which is the more reliable indicator? What is your favorite screening things. Thanks.

Q: To add some diversity to my Canadian holdings, over the last 5 years I've held VUS, VFV and VEF. VEF is about 11% of the portfolio. The 2 US ETFs have outperformed VEF almost 2 to 1.
My question is do you think it's necessary to have EAFE exposure? I'm thinking of selling VEF to raise cash so I'm ready for the next dip in north American markets. Thanks for all of your great advice over the years. cheers

Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
Today they signed a licence agreement with Amazon. Please explain...what is a "licence agreement"? The stock jumped...what implication does this agreement have for QTRH.
As always...thanks for your information!

Q: I am putting together a portfolio for my daughter who is somewhat risk averse. The portfolio will include a TFSA, RRSP and open account. A recurring question I know but does the drop in STN make it a more compelling long-term buy now than WSP or does WSP's momentum win out? Since the stock could go in any of the accounts, I am wondering if WSP's dividend in the open account is just enough to win the day? Income is not the prime pre-requisite here but it wouldn't hurt either.
Appreciate your insight.

Q: Can you confirm that either LOGIQ or JC Clark institutional Investors have said that they will back Point North nominees to liquor stores board. Do you Think Point North nominees will act independently. Do you think a quick buyer can be found for this business. I have received 3 phone calls from Point North soliciting representative. Regards
Q: Hello 5i
With talk of capital flow rotation, Pundits claiming dooms day freely in the media, some stocks and sectors seeing chart patterns rounding out in topping formation........and all the other market topping signs,
what are the portfolio review activities an investor should be conducting today?
As you can imagine, some of my longtime winners are giving back gains and other stock prices have stalled. It will be disappointing to me if I just sit and watch as my gains evaporate.
Short of telling me you are not market timers, do you have thoughts on what an investor is to do in the current environment to hold onto profits, while managing behaviours and emotions?
Portfolio is widely diversified including pension split between CAD, US and EAFE. There is very little fixed income utilized given expected low and negative bond returns.
Thanks
Dave

Q: I have American money sitting in a US margin account and not earning any interest. Do you have a suggestion for a safe use for it that could earn us some income?
Q: I have owned the GOOG class "C" shares for many years and it trades with a minor discount to the class A GOOGL shares. On Market Call today the guest indicated "you should always buy the GOOGL shares. What is your opinion and if you agree should I sell to then acquire the GOOGL shares? That said, is this a reasonable time to bring this from a 3.4% weighting up to a 5%? Appreciate your insight.
Q: Hi Team, would you have any concerns about the credit quality of Artis for a 2 year bond? The rating is BBB(low). Thank you. Michael
Q: would you consider this a buy for tax free account
recent analysts seem positive, good dividend but i have some concern about payout ratio
i have a 5 year outlook and no problem with some risk; most of my portfolio is growth oriented so looking at this for some balance
thanks

Q: I am looking over my portfolio and am overweight tech - like many, I suspect. Kinaxis is one of your favourites and in the balanced portfolio, which is why I own it. Is it not very, very expensive, though? The G&M has it with a forward PE of 85, and a PEG of 3.11. By way of comparison, Facebook is at 30.5 with a PEG of 1.2.
