Q: Granted that these companies differ in dividend (only with AD), size (DOO largest, AD smallest) and type of business (sports equipment, fashion products, and equity financing to private companies), how would you rank these four stocks for future growth runway today (highest to lowest) if sector was not a consideration? Thanks for your valued input!

Q: hello 5i Research team, BOS : I know you have been disappointed by this one. Could you comment on the “new valuation” of BOS since THE contract was announced? Is this new valuation only valide while THE contract is being worked-on and that there is a higher level of hope that more contracts will follow due to COVID? How optimistic are you about additional such sizeable follow-up contracts from the US government or other foreign governments, especially since last year’s merger? Are the cash flows generated by THE contract enough to reduce significantly the debt level to induce higher multiples? What maximum weight would you give it in a diversified portfolio? What other Canadian companies offer a similar risk/return profil? Thank you for your collaboration, Eric

Q: I invested in QSR and TRI which to the best my know is with out a deposit receipt but that something for another day). I hold these in a balance portfolio. Now I see QSR is in the 5IR Income Portfolio. With that, would 5IR hold TRI in a balance or income portfolio?.
The reason I ask this as the weighting of these positions would be different in a balance portfolio than in the income one.
........curious me....Tom

Q: The price of Stantec has improved significantly recently, finally moving above the high of ~ $37 hit way back in October of 2017.

What do you feel has changed? Also, do you think their prospects look better than 6 months ago? 'The markets' seem to like something!

I see their 3 year strategic plan is here:

Thanks!

Q: Do you think that the majority of the dividend cuts are in now? If not, do you think the cuts will be sector specific (e.g. REITs, banks, etc.)? Could you summarise the sectors as you see them for probability of dividend safety / cuts?

Q: Peter; NVU.UN is ,all things being equal, being taken over by Starlight, aka Mr.Drimmer. At the same time there is an IPO backed by Starlight, called the Northview High Yield Residential Fund .class A shares, to yield 10.5%. Which, if qualifies for the dividend tax credit , would be attractive. Have you heard of this IPO and how is it connected to the takeover? Thanks. Rod
