Q: What's your take on their Fourth Quarter and Year End Results that were released this evening ??

Q: Hi team,
I want one or two stocks from the list below which you believe I would look back 5 years from now and badly regret why I did not buy them today.
Group 1: KXS, ESL, DHX, DIRTT
Group 2: TD, RBC, HCG
Group 3: SJ, SIS, MDA
Group 4: ENB, PKI, BCE
Group 5: RRX, TOU, VET
To get to the winner, I want to ask you to kindly identify one stock in each group first and then rank those five from 1 (most regretful) to 5 (least regretful). I know you don’t have any info about my portfolio, risk tolerance, and investment objectives, the final stocks vary widely from each other, and this is perhaps the most unusual request…but I appreciate it if you play this game…I also want to see if the winner of my list is the same as what you have in mind…and if not then tell us what you would have bought from the list of Canadian stocks so you would not regret 5 years from now. Hopefully you will find this exercise fun. Thanks for your patience and expert advice (even if your response is for me to give up these kinds of questions.)

Q: CIBC came out a few days ago and they downgraded CAS to $8.I see that Cascades also owns 20% of Boralex which is going higher everyday which makes the stock very cheap. Do you think the CIBC report is justified with a $8 target. The market always hits the stock when such reports come out. What would you think of CAS and should one hold or sell considering the negative backdrop.

Q: Parkland Fuel reported tonight. Could you give us your opinion of the results including the adjusted dividend.

Q: Can you advise what is the difference between the ishare etf cew and cew.a ? Is there any advantage in purchasing one over the other?

I`m considering buying DH . It seemed to have a very good last quarter/year but i can't find any earnings growth estimates for the next 1-2 years . I don`t have any banking exposure and was thinking this one might be a good choice especially considering its recent momentum.

Q: In response to the previous question, K-Bro was downgraded by Scotia, referencing a few new contracts they lost out on to competitors. Scotia also mentioned an M&A transaction that K-Bro lost out on and was interested in.

Q: In Amaya’s press release this morning they stated that they will not be providing 2016 guidance “in view of the potential offer that may be forthcoming from Mr. Baazov”. I cannot make sense of this or understand why this would be a reason to withhold future guidance. Surely the due diligence that any potential acquirer would undertake will far outweigh any “guidance” provided to shareholders. It sounds to me like an excuse to not disclose what would otherwise be underwhelming future guidance. Could this be why it is trading significantly lower this morning? How would common shareholders like me even begin to evaluate the merits of any bid to take the company private if they won’t even provide guidance? Do you see anything “fishy” with this move?

Q: In your opinion, what are the top 5 most under-valued stocks listed on the TSX? Which one of these do you feel has the greatest potential for a strong come-back in the next year?
