Q: Hi Peter & Team
Love your service. I have good pension income and a balanced portfolio of Cdn & US stocks in my TFSA's and non registered accounts.
I also have $300,000 in my RRIF accounts and would like to rebalance with a few conservative stock ETF's (3-4 ..?) to achieve US & Global coverage. What do you suggest ...

Q: I have recently been making significant adjustments to my portfolio, based on the results of Portfolio Analytics. In particular, I am significantly decreasing my financials and energy, and making large increases to my US and international weights.

Despite my changes, I am still overweight by 6% based on the recommended financials, and by 5% for energy. I am underweight international by about 6%. What is your recommended tolerance? How much leeway do you suggest for the recommended allocations?

Also, I am currently invested about 11% in VIGI. What is the maximum allocation you suggest for any ETF? I am a fan of the dividend aristocrats/growers strategy. Is there any other international dividend ETF which you would recommend (if possible, sold in Canadian dollars) along these lines?

For the US dividend growers, I have DGRO, VGG and ZDY.

Thank you for this incredible service that you offer!

Q: Could I get your opinion on the potential for VIGI. I am looking for safety with modest growth in my RIF. Is it dependent on Brexit or mainly just the European economy? I also hold MAW102 and VIG which have both performed better than VIGI. I have considered selling VIGI and investing the proceeds 50/50 in the other two. Comment and suggestions appreciated

Q: I have US$ in my RIF that I would like to invest defensively given general high valuations and the potential for a correction. Would VIG and VIGI be good choices or would you have other suggestions. Thanks for the help. Doug

Q: Morning, New website looks good! I am looking to improve a family members TFSA which was setup by a bank. They put her into some lame and expensive mutual funds, no surprise. Am thinking about XWD and ZLB as replacements, with the goal being balance as well as capital appreciation. Any other suggestions? Thanks, Lavern

Q: Can I have your opinion and comparisons on these 3 international ETF for a long term core holding, to compliment VIG in an RRSP, which is best and why. No international exposure at the moment. I understand that XEF and ZEA both track the same index however I'm not sure why XEF would hold its own ETF for a 7% holding.
