Q: I am trying to decide where your sentiments really lie on Ten Peaks coffee. I'm thinking of a possible switch from TPK to BOS, given BOS's recent decline, and its high rating.
In your recent report on Ten Peaks, you gave it a C +. By 5 I standards, a C+ rating denotes "Companies we do not expect much growth from. May pay a dividend we would view as sustainable. Would own for income, needs to be watched."
This doesn't sound very hopeful for TPK.
Is it then, in 5 I terms, on the low end of probability as a growth stock? All along I've been reading this as one which has good potential, but your recent rating makes me think twice.
I've had my eye on BOS for some time, and wondered if now might not be a good time to switch, notwithstanding the very diverse industries in which they lie.
Thank you!

Q: What are your thoughts on this stock now? is there another you prefer in this sector?
Q: It's been over a year since you've looked at VersaPay (v.vpy). In the meanwhile, their move with ARC software is really starting to pay off, with acceptance/expansion to new customers and end-users developing even faster than the company itself had estimated just 3 months ago. What's your take?
Q: I Would like your opinion on these two companies for dividend and stability for retirement income purpose. Shall I buy both for diversification or one better than the other. (NWH, TMC) Thanks
Q: Can I get your thoughts on this very new etf launched by purefunds? Has 36 stocks of companies involved in video games. Has a very small cap of 2.6m. The gaming industry is an evolving industry and judging by the price of video games constantly increasing in price that my kids have no problem in forking out the dough for, revenue should increase for the companies. More companies are getting involved in the online gaming such as Amazon buying twitch, Facebook launching Oculus Rift and China's gaming market is expected to double over the next 4 yrs. This etf would seem to be a winner. I know it is a very risky etf and probably have to hold for a few yrs but what do you think?
Q: How can one accurate payout ratios on stocks ,particularly reits.Cibc lists Hot.un as 381 percent ,which seems pretty high and others as well.Im looking for reits with low payout ratios.
Q: Today XSR reported $84.4m Rev & 0.22 Eps which exceed Estimated $83.9m Rev & 0.9 Eps.Your expert opinion on the results & effect on price going forward as parent co. made a recent offer of $4.25 per share.Always appreciate your great services & views
Q: Is it time to buy in to this one
Q: The take-over of Polycom by Mitel has been widely rumoured, and apparently this will be structured as a takeover of PLCM by MNW. I thought that in general in a takeover the shares of the takeover would go down, and that of the target will go up as a premium would have to be paid. What is your view?
Q: Hi, I have a full position with bam.,@43.00 and was thinking of selling and buying a reit for a bigger dividend.Do not need extra cash but would be nice.
Would this be a good idea or would I be better off with holding bam. and hopefully getting a much bigger capital gain in two or three years?
Also which reit would you buy if I switch?
Thanks,great work

Q: Just wondering why you are selling this from your growth portfolio? thanks Clare
Q: Hello,
I've been looking for a good Canadian utility stock that has limited exposure to Canadian O&G pipeline exposure (ie. Not TransCanada or Enbridge) and for one that has a great track record of raising its dividend, has some growth and hopefully trading at a reasonable P/E. Algonquin, Emera, and Fortis came to mind. How would you rank these three on those metrics? Also the app I use shows Algonquin as having a very high trailing P/E (35) as compared to the other two showing in the high teens. Is that wrong?
Also would you wait for a bit of a pull back for some of these names and what are there expected forward P/E's.
Thanks a lot!

Q: Hi 5i staff,
I am contemplating in shorting Directcash as the fundamentals suggest that the stock is due for a correction.
The yield is about 12% and appears to be unsustainable to support the current price.
What are your thoughts and recommendations of such a trade?
Your feedback is kindly appreciated.

Q: From a technical standpoint as per IE,if SYZ breaks out from $9($9.35 high today & also 52 week high),the next resistance is $11.Note your recent positive comments( including its repurchase of 1.4 shares @ av.cost of $6.94 since 7/15 & suggestion that it can be a multi-bagger when probed by National Post in early march-was $8.34 on 3/4 ).Is this a good point to add to my small holdings? Thanks for your usual great services & views.
Q: I noticed Sylogist has a strange looking chart where there is a distinct upward trend from early October. You can almost draw a support line from the lows of about $6. It also hit a new 52 week high today. I'm not sure if this is significant from a technical analysis point of view, or if your team even thinks technicals are worth looking at. Any comments?
Q: I have a half position and my cost was $ 8.71 in US, today up between 4 to 5%. Based on Bloomberg it is a advanced talk merge with Polycom. Based on your previous comment it has a fair amount of debt already. On April 1 a Forida company has a target price of $ 12.57. Should I buy more from here?
