Q: Could I have your thoughts on Royal Canadian Mint please. Value of the company. Is it investable or can money be used better elsewhere (bank stocks)? Will Canada's 150th birthday next year improve the outlook? Thanks J

Q: I seem to have been afflicted with the same problem other members have experienced. This is my third question, previous two have gone unanswered. I know my question credits are sufficient and your site confirms the question has been sent. Have you identified why this is happening?
My last question related to the most recent conference call with Kinaxis management. There was frequent reference to an inflection point and I am wondering what this is and how it would relate to the company's prospects.

Q: Hi Peter and Associates!
I was reading yesterday a comment by David Rosenberg that the TSX is currently trading at 20X forward earnings which historically is very high. Do you share the view that the Canadian market is overvalued?

Q: Hi 5i,
Although they have both been good investments, it seems that since 2010 BIP units have outperformed BEP units by a decent margin. Are the profit margins lower in BEP's focus area or is there something about the energy project investment arc that delays returns in the renewable energy space? I'm wondering what the BIP unit outperformance is attributable to and whether it is a factor that is likely to continue or whether, in the future, BEP is more likely to keep pace, or even to do a little catch-up. I'd be interested in any thoughts you may have on this. Thanks!

Q: I have a small (1%) position in Solium and am up modestly. I was pleasantly surprised at the modest share price bump after the poor Q2/1H earnings. Perhaps the market is looking at the improved topline and giving the company time to convert that to a better bottom line. However, I'm thinking of selling SUM and buying more GUD, which is also a small position. I could also keep SUM and just add to GUD. Could you provide an outlook on SUM for the next 2-3 years and the relative merits of these two? Thank-you.
Q: Would you mind explaining how the one year share price of XHY has gone from: Aug 19/15 at $19.81 to Feb 2/16 at $17.31 and then back up Aug18/16 to $20.01. Is share price only affected by interest rate changes or other things in the ETF that I'm missing? And is there a best time to buy the ETF.
Thank you.
G
Thank you.

Q: From your vantage point which industries/ businesses do you see growing interest as investable opportunities? I tend to focus on individual companies rather than industries but I find it certainly helps if the company is in a high growth industry. No rush with an answer.Thanks.
Q: Hi
How likely is it that the sale of MBT to BCE will go through?
Would you purchase MBT on weakness?
Thanks

Q: I have a one and a half year time horizon before I need to convert my RRSP to a RRIF. Can you provide and suggestions for some do's and don'ts regarding this process? I have a solid pension and my RRSP is self directed.
Any suggested reading references/articles would also be appreciated.
As always,
Thanks
Paul

Q: I have owned EDR since well before the 2008 downturn and kept it. It has turned around and it is now well above what I paid. I am interested in investing more in gold/silver would like your opinion on whether to buy more EDR or is there a better growth play in silver/gold. I have also owned Goldcorp for several years and am still a bit under water with it. I value your opinion. Thanks

Q: Bought DH at $23 in July/2013. Reached $43+ in July 2015. Now $29+. I have read your recent comments on this stock & respect your assessment however, do you firmly believe that this very OLD company has the current management to compete today in a very sophisticated high-teck marketplace? Thank you.
Q: Just an aded information regarding the otc market.
Quotes are no longer available neither level 2. Buying is throwing a dart in a tunnel at night.
Your broker may not allow you to trade, and if it does it will only give you (eventually) the bid/ask spread at the time of the quote.
Then there is the problem of selling, some trades are extremly thin.
If you have a portfolio manager, he may be able to acess OTC. Otherwise good luck.

Q: Curious about your thoughts on this trust post Q2 earnings. A lot has changed with this security in the last 6 months. Do you recommend KWH.UN as an income investment?
Q: Arun Menawat is now CEO. This is a very interesting development and it now makes sense why he left Novadaq. With Goodman on the Board and Arun as CEO, PRN's future appears to be in good (management) hands. Where do you see this company and its market cap in the next 1-3 years assuming they get approval to sell in Canada and then the USA. GUD has rights in Canada and I expect them to get more involved soon.
Q: What's your current view of Timdercreek. Is it a buy for an rsp account now with it's high yield or do you prefer another one in this space?
Q: any insight into these two small companies, Data Communications Management Corporation, and Canadadream Corp?
Thanks !
Linda
