Q: I’m struggling to decide which 3 of these holdings have the greatest potential if the only criteria was growth in a TFSA for a 5 year + hold.
I would appreciate any thoughts on which 3 you might keep and why (or which 3 you might divest and why).

Q: At this stage, would you recommend that I sell my Canfor shares, or hold off a bit longer, in case the Pattison bid is sweetened? I'm about break-even on these shares. Thanks.
Q: Missed proposed transaction by Boyd. Can you bring me up to speed? Should we keep both issues?
Q: May I have your assessment of the recent results, please. Can you see a turn-around in the next year or two?
Q: Is there a Canadian ETF with a focus on Spain?
Q: what our your views on their situation in light of damages to their installations. Seems to be on a steady downturn last week or so.

Q: Hi,
Can you offer any thoughts on how you value a convertible debenture, in particular as it approaches maturity? I am concerned in particular with the EFR debenture and am wondering if this would be a good time to sell, as I am back to even on the cost and have picked up some interest payments along the way. The underlying stock does not help ally my concerns. GSY's debenture seems more worthy of holding on, however it has touched on 143.00 this week and brings up the question of exiting while ahead, as opposed to holding on to see if it can continue higher. Any thoughts you can offer on this situation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for all your hard work and helpful insight.

Q: Hi Folks,
Do you think this is a good time to start a position in US financials? If so, can you give me 2 or 3 names that you like. Or is there an ETF that you prefer?

Q: comments please on the quarter?
Q: Hello 5I.
I have held this stock for the past year. With the latest earnings I am just slightly up. On Friday the stock was continuing its run up to 21.10. And then The news came out that the US did not agree to repealing all tariffs with China. With that the stock reversed and finished down for the day. My question is, is this Company’s prospects highly correlated to the trade dispute between China and the US?

Q: I read the most recent press release from DIRRT Environmental on their 3rd quarter release. The CEO Kevin O'Meara made some pretty pointed comments about the company's failure to execute. I have never heard a CEO publically give such a frank and honest assessment of the company's missteps. Is Mr O'Meara a one off or is his rant a normal response from an unhappy CEO
Q: I bought a small position (1.5%) in LSPD two months ago thinking of adding to 3% later on, but with all the news and disenchantment lately regarding the new high growth companies and the failed IPOs, do you see a higher risk on LSPD? I have a long time frame, and was wondering if I am just concerned by short term noise. I do understand LSPD comes with higher risk than most stocks, but wanted to know your thoughts.
Q: Peter; Not really a question but some info on FTS. There is an article in the NYT weekend edition entitled The New Chapter in an Energy Fight which details the fight between power companies trying to build gas powers plants vs renewable ones- Tucson Electric - a sub of FTS now - are building a solar and storage plant for a very low rate vs gas . They are way ahead of the curve .

I’m having difficulty deciding whether to sell or hold. Chief factors playing into my decision are interest rates and fuel prices. Your opinion please.
