Q: Hello
Are there any pure auto insurance companies to invest in, my thinking is that with the use of sensors etc accidents will be greatly reduced and insurance companies will not be passing savings on to consumers.

Q: Hi 5i,for some reason I didn't get a reply for my yesterday's question. I would like your choice of the above, perhaps suggesting better ones. Can you explain why are they trading substantially below their book value. How will future interest rate increase effect their price. Can you suggest a web site for rate rest prefers. Many thank, J.A.P. Burlington
Q: Any insight or info on the ICC sell-off the last several trading sessions? Over a week removed from earnings release so would have expected to see that last week.
I know you're not huge fans of the sector and even less so on an Uruguay play but any intel would be appreciated. I do find it a more interesting option than the oversaturated Canadian players.

Q: Hi, After announcing a blowout quarter, stock has been drifting lower for past few weeks. The looming bankruptcy of Toys R'us has been cited as one of the reasons. Toys R'us being one of the major retailer of Spin Master products, what is the likely impact, in your view, Spin Master sales, in near term. How would the company cope with this ?
On a different note, S & P Dow Jones group announced addition of Spin Master to TSX Composite as at Sep/18 closing. What is the approximate expected demand of TOY shares for this event ? Thanks

Q: Hello i5, Please help me to understand why cm.pr.p @$18.26,paying 4.26%div,redeemable @$25.00 with a floating rate feature trading at, in my view, a large discount price? or is it? Please explain how the actual floating is, in terms of %div on this preferred. Also would appreciate receiving a couple more alike rate reset ones at lower than redeem Price. How would the reset preferred be effected by the prime rate change. Many thanks J.A.P. Burlington

Q: I'm interested in VGK, VWO and VPL. They've all been doing quite well for some time now. Would you wait for some weakness before buying, or do you expect that all these funds will continue to outperform? I notice that the first two funds are doing a bit better than their Canadian-dollar counterparts, VE and VEE. Would you attribute that mainly to the composition of the funds? Thanks very much for your advice.
Q: Good Afternoon,
Any thoughts on LGQ exiting the retail fund business (as per news today) ? Any other thoughts about the future of the company would be greatly appreciated.
Thank-you

Q: Ok, Shop is on a tear. What type of financials would the company have to show in 3 years to justify today's price?? Should we be viewing it on the same metrics as Amazon in its early years??
It seems to be going up in a vacuum.
Kind regards

Q: Hi,
After having been burned regularly by buying oil gas stocks in the last few years - despite being assured prices are on the verge of recovery - I am reticent. I am interested in pipeline stocks because they seem less volatile, have good dividends, and some have been hit hard (Enbridge), can you answer this?
1) what do you think of pipelines in the next couple years? is there a better alternative for some growth and generous dividend?
2) buy now or wait for 5% position
3) what would be your top and second pick?

Q: Do you happen to know why Comcast has fallen sharply? Would you recommend it as a long term investment, or do you prefer other names in that space? Thanks.
Q: Reading the press release regarding SIS increasing its dividend, the president stated "Considering the aging population and its desire to age at home, we expect continued growth of over 10% in our lift division over the next five years and we maintain our objective to generate revenue of some $500 million by the end of 2021," concluded Mr. Bourassa.
With 2016-12 revenue at 120 million, that is a 4x revenue increase in 5 years. Very promising. How would you calculate the market cap and share price in 5 years based on his 5 year objective?

Q: Please comment on the decline in HBM subsequent to their announced financing.
Q: Hello Peter & Ryan and Team,
Can you comment on the recent majority purchase from CRH. The market liked it and I do like how it was done with credit and cash on hand instead of stock. Your expert opinion please.

Q: Hello Team,
I am 71, invest in value blue chips and ETF's 30% fixed, 20% cash, 50% equities. The portfolio is balanced following your portfolio review advice, including part of the income portfolio and part of the ETF portfolio. In our TFSA we have a 5 year GIC ladder with Oaken and some fixed ETF's. For 2018 TFSA ($4500 each)should we go with a growth stock, continue with the GIC plan or extend a fixed ETF? We have a little growth stock as per your income portfolio.
Thank you
Stanley
