Q: In Jan 2015 I had 7.55% of my portfolio invested in Energy companies. BP (ADR), SU, CVE, Encana, and Total SA (ADR).

I watched these companies fall to all time lows earlier this year and now recently they are going back up again along with price of oil.

I plan on selling one or two positions in Energy and reallocate the funds into other sectors.

How would you rate the companies I have listed above and which would recommend selling.

Regards

Q: Hi Peter and 5iResearch Team,
I have held Encana, ECA for what seems forever - purchased at $29.79. Should I continue to hold this stock, with the recent company changes? Do you like this stock or is their a much better option for solid LT growth and dividend in the oil and gas sector.
Thank you.

Q: Hi Peter,
I see the pricing for PrairieSky has been released this morning or at least a price range. Looks like they will be selling 25% to the public or 32.5 million shares at a price range of $23-$26.50/share for total proceeds of approx $800MM. The dividend will be $1.27/share for a yield of approx 5% depending on the final price. Do you think the valuation looks compelling enough to pick up on the IPO? Thanks

Q: I am way under water on ECA , because I own a lot of it which was bought at the peak . As you know the market doesn't care what I paid .
Do you know if PrairieSky Royalty ( an initial public offering form Encana ) is going to erode ECA stock value ? This could get bloody - It appears that we should be lining up for PrairieSky Royalty and dumping Encana ...

Q: Hi,
I own FRU since 2009 (30%pa) but 9%pa since 2011; I like the business model (nothing earth shattering but steady). I'm thinking of buying Clearwater Royalty when EnCana will spin it off. What do you think of it and how do I proceed to make the purchase.
Thanks
Tony
