Q: Looking to add to my tfsa with one of these companies for a 2 to 3 year hold. Would you please compare their outlook and which mighty you prefer? Also,a recommended entry price for each . Thanx.

Q: Hey,

You guys often do some great research that includes lists of companies eg. Stock screeners and others.

What i think would be very helpful to you subscribers is hilite in yellow liner the 2 or 3 stocks that 5i research likes best in the grouping.

I know you list them in order of some quanitative data eg highest to lowest growth rates, but that doesn't necessarily mean that going forward the one with the highest past growth rates has the best future potential for growth.

Would like to hear if you think this would be feasible for you to use on future analysis and lists that you generate.

Q: Would welcome your thoughts on the LPs that are offered to accredited investors- what is your experience in general - it seems like an attractive way to gain exposure to private co- but there are lots of fees and of course no assurance you are getting a good price

Q: Hi, I own GOOG, MSFT and AMZN which make up the bulk of my US investments, but I have been underweight US in my portfolio mostly because of fear of the detailed T1135 which doesn’t make for very sound investing/portfolio management. I am thinking of adding EQL (CDN listed and not overweight tech) and XSU (CDN listed as an IWO proxy) to get a bit of small cap growth potential. I would aim for about 80/20 respectively, and for perspective, EQL would end us being about 15% of total equity portfolio. Can I have your thoughts?

Q: I have NBC760 as one of the last mutual funds I own. I noticed the benchmark tsx small cap performed tremendously well last year and this one lagged. Would you recommend switching to something like XCS? Or something else? With the huge run-up in the last year is this still a good time to buy xcs? Can u also give some background as to why the huge increase.

Q: Hello 5i team,
I sold topicus near its high last year and was thinking of getting back in. What are your thoughts on it's current status? Being in the balance portfolio, are you still good with it long term? This is more to add another tech stock for sector balance. Are there other equity suggestions?

Q: Had used both of these vehicles for holding Cash in my TD Waterhouse Accounts. I checked on most recent Payout and it appeared the monthly dividend was Less than 2% on CASH:CA whilst TCSH:CA was around 2.3%. After checking a couple sites CASH claimed to be paying 2.3 as well. What do you see as CASH Payout currently?

I have switched to TCSH:CA because TD charges trading commissions on using CASH whilst TCSH:CA etf is commission free as of today.

Q: I have a balanced position of financials in my portfolio. The banks have had a great run in the last number of years and many are now reaching higher P/E ratios, some at 15.

I continue to like banks but also feel that I should trim some of my position. What would be your view, is there a compelling reason to stay put and hold or would you trim?
