Q: Isn't a p/e ratio of 83 just too high for a company with Kinaxis' growth profile? Also, it would help if your information listing for companies showed the forward p/e ratio too as that is the one most people I know go by.

Q: Your comments on the year end & quarter's results for Madalena Energy would be appreciated. Were they good enough to suggest keeping it or bad enough to suggest selling ?They had a hit on 2 wells with total output of 250 b/p/d. Does this make them more viable or does the political climate in Argentina cancel this out?
Q: I have some US$ in a savings account (haha) and would be interested in your suggestions re; money market, T bill, or other reasonably safe yield bearing investment, tia. Pat

Q: Hi 5i
I am frustrated with AD and am looking at a replacement in an RSP account. Could you give your opinion and rank order for a long term hold of CGX, ECI and ABT. Do you think each will kept in the PF? Thanks for your help.

Q: Do you have any view on the poor price performance of Onex of late. Are you concerned about their abilities fundamentally in the future
Q: What is your take on this company ? All reports seem to confirm the current dividend is safe. Regardless of healthcare funding, the surgical centres will continue to operate, so presumably the cash will continue to flow. Canaccord downgraded the stock but others rate it much higher. What then is the rationale for the recent decline in the stock price and what is the outlook over the next year ?
Q: Hi team,
I have about a 5% position in SQ (my full is about 7% or so). I watched the earnings closely. They were good. The stock wavered a bit, held and is now moving higher. Yesterday, SQ announced they were accepting bitcoin as a payment option for certain customers. I have not jumped on the bitcoin bandwagon but have not dismissed it either. Is this an indication, albeit a small one, that bitcoin may be starting to go mainstream. Would you add to SQ here?
Thanks again

Q: Could you please give your likes and concerns on CHE.UN as an investment for the next few years + your thoughts on the pros and cons of the quarterly report and what in the report drove the price drop today. Thanks.
Q: I currently hold a very small position in Enbridge (1.5%) and a very large position in CDIC-guaranteed High Interest Savings Accounts (HISA's). I am retired and capital preservation has become important to me. HISA yields are about 1% while ENB yield is more than 5%. However, ENB dipped below $44 briefly this morning, which represents a 20% drop over the past year. Would you recommend switching some of my HISA's to ENB at this time to obtain a better yield?
Q: Greetings 5i,
Macro outlook is calling me away from N.A. today. Developing a strategy to take advantage of what looks like an enormous infrastructure and transportation project in China and surrounding countries. This may be old news to some but has popped up on my radar only recently.
"Estimates indicate that Belt and Road infrastructure projects in Asia alone will require investments of US1.7 trillion a year through to 2030" - HSBC
So my question is regarding China's Multi trillion dollar Belt & Road Initiative(Silk Road), what ETF holds companies that would gain significantly from this huge transportation infrastructure project?
Also could you see some simple base metal companies benefiting such as local iron ore company LIF, or a big international like Glencore?
Providing I stay diversified appropriately what is the best way to capture some of this growth?
Cheers!
