Q: Hi,

I am planning on adding a tech stock to my portfolio.

Between qcom, open text and cgi which would be your preferred stock. I am already overweight CSU in the portfolio.

The correction in qcom makes it attractive in terms of valuation, OTC had a fabulous quarter and cgi has a promising outlook.

Q: Hi Peter,
Points International (PTS) announced earnings last night and results beat estimates on both eps and revenues. Company had revenue YOY growth of 68% and seem to be executing quite nicely on their strategy in the loyalty market. What are your thoughts on their results? Do you believe this investment would require a longer term horizon (2-4 years)? And do you believe this company has room for further growth in terms of company performance and shareholder value?

Q: I own shares in Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation (CTSH) and quite like the Company. Today they reported the results for their last quarter. Earnings exceeded expectations and they showed nice revenue growth. Forward guidance was not, however, well received and the stock dropped over 12% today. This seems to be an overreaction. What are your thoughts on the Company's future relative to today's stock price?

Q: CYNO (NASDQ): sells very high P.E., low ROE-however PEG ratio is compelling-recent Q2 results very good, bought company recently to improve prod. offering and gain good technology. TR has a "strong buy" on this stock. What do you think?

Q: re: SW Sierra Wireless

Lots of positive things being reported recently. Has anything you have seen as of late generated additional optimism regarding SW moving forward since your July 2 answer? And would you consider SW a buy or "hold off and wait and see?" SW bucking the trend up 5.89% so far today.

Q: I was reading some information about Avigilon (AVO) a few days ago. Apparently, Veritas suggests some issues that could affect AVO are channel stuffing (something to do with collaboration between AVO and its channel intermediaries) and early revenue recognition. Veritas also was concerned about uncommon auditor review practices. As a consequence to its review they are suggesting caution. It seems to me that these are probably consequences of a fast growing company rather than something I should be particularly concerned about; however, the frequency I get burnt by trusting my instincts is too high so wished to get your valued opinion.
