Q: Hi 5i team:
I am looking to add to my position in the tech sector and would like to ask you to rank the following stocks: ENGH, CSU, OTEX, GIB.A. I already own SHOP, KXS, DSG. Is it a good time to add to my portfolio? Are the opportunities better in the U. S.? Thanks,
Pierre

Q: Hi 5i Team,
At the recent Toronto Money Show, David Rosenberg advised that the leading indicators he monitors are showing signs of an economic slowdown. He advised people to become defensive. My question is what does he mean by defensive and how does a retail buy and hold investor do this. Would it be possible to give examples of defensive sectors and stocks?

Thanks and regards,
Danny

Q: Please correct me where I am wrong, but these two ETF's track the same index (un-hedged US total market), but in spite of XUU having a lower MER, VUN seems to be the more popular choice, as well as seems to have a higher amount of daily trading volume. Any idea why?

Q: Hi .... Further to your answer to Guy's question and as someone who is hurting big time with rht .... does your answer mean that there are no catalysts anticipated in the next year to lift this stock - other than an unanticipated piece of good news? No excellent fundamentals?

As 'they" say, hope is not a strategy.... so my impression is that if you were putting new money to work RHT would be way down your list of candidates?

Thanks for your help here. I hate to walk away from an investment but this looks like it is overdue to be dumped.
