Just looking for your perspective on the energy sector / wti increase having further gains to year end or even Q1 22 ? I have many positions that are near back to break even or now even positive. Please advise TY

You are positive on AbCellera Biologics Inc.but the stock continues to tumble.. Other than Merck's announcement, i dont see any other news to create the decline.. .I am thinking of averaging down. Also, Greenlane is taking hits as well .. Do you think it is worth averaging down on this one as well?

Q: Hi 5i,
What are your thoughts on today’s acquisition by AYX of Hyper Anna, an Australian based cloud company, whose strength appears to be AI? Does this make AYX a significant player, or not, both in the cloud, and in the AI space, where I believe AYX was weak on both counts.

Q: I received a message from my broker stating that I have three options regarding Redemption of these units, basically redeem or don't (and take part in the transition to Algoma, I guess).

1. Why would you need/use the redemption offer rather than sell on the exchange (at least while trading above the redemption price as it is at the moment)?

2. The message included this: WARNING: RESTRICTED, PRIVATE OR NON-QUALIFIED SHARES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN YOUR RBC DIRECT INVESTING INC. ACCOUNTS AND FOR REGISTERED ACCOUNTS MAY ALSO BE SUBJECT TO PENALTY TAX.

Does this actually apply to these units, or is it boilerplate?

I am a member of 5i for over 6 years and I am glad I made the decision to be become a member. Thank you for the wonderful service.

Over the years I have been looking at the reports and now I am seeming more A's and A-'s..is that because these companies have met all your expectations or have you become a more lenient marker?

Also there used to be a page which lists all the coverage companies (irrespective of the portfolio they might be in ) where can I find this page?

Q: Given the consensus opinion that rates are likely to rise, do you perceive a risk that the US dollar might spike, driving down the price of commodities, especially oil? Could a 2014 scenario be in the cards?

If the dollar does rise significantly, could oil/gas rise in tandem? Would you be inclined to position a portfolio for higher oil and gas prices in the coming year or so, regardless of what the dollar does?
