Q: I just received news that the agreement between Glencore and NIF.UN will be renewed for another five years. However, "With the renewal of the Supply and Processing Agreement, the main challenge now facing the Fund will be to continue to operate its Processing Facility at a profit once market terms take effect May 3, 2017. The Fund’s Board of Trustees is mindful of the expected negative impact that the transition to market term pricing will have on the Fund’s operations, including its ability to sustain its distribution policy. The Board of Trustees is carefully reviewing the Fund’s reserves and will augment the reserves if necessary." Whatis your view on NIF.UN?

Q: Could you comment on DH's debt position? You reported that they paid down $200m of debt in the last quarter whereas I read elsewhere they paid down $20 million so I am wondering where the typo lies. Given their recurring income streams, I would think paying off $800m of debt annually would leave them in pretty good stead.

Thanks for your help.

Q: Hi Peter,

I have owned YUM for a few years and entered around $60. I am 42 with a growth and income objective. I was a little surprised with the rapid decent from $85.

1. Can you help me understand what happened with YUM/YUMC?
2. Would you buy/hold/sell YUM?
3. Would you buy/hold/sell YUMC?

Thanks, love your service :)

Q: As a newer subscriber to 5i, i am interested in purchasing your BE portfolio. The above names have had huge run ups and I don't know how to approach them. Which ones are buyable at these levels?
Of the ones you deem buyable, can you comment, for each, as to whether a half position or full position should be taken.
And can you rank these in terms in terms of your preferences at current levels?

Thank you for your excellent service, as always.

Q: I have a 5% position in Alaris and am significantly under water. Earlier this year I sold CJT at a nice profit so I am sitting with a nice capital gain. I am thinking of selling Alaris for the loss and to offset some of the capital gain with Cargojet, As I like Alaris and it's dividend I would most likely buy it back after 30 days. My question is do you like this strategy and if yes would you execute it before or after Alaris reports next week ?

Thanks Ken

Q: Hi, Nike is near its 52 week low and has a pretty amazing historical chart, not to mention brand. From some research, it seems that growth in China is challenged, and futures are down a bit. Is that it, or am I missing something?

Is this an opportunity to initiate a full (3-5%) position?
