Q: Hi 5i,
Happy New Year Peter and 5i team. We would appreciate if you could assess our grandsons (age 3) RESP. We have added new money and will be getting some additional grant money soon. In your opinion what additional stock would fit in with his current holdings or should we increase the percentage of the lowest holdings which is TNC and XTC.
The current holdings are: ATD.B, CXI, DHX.B, DSG, XTC, GUD, PBH, TNC.
All of the holdings are up. Thank you for your advice in the past.

Q: I am overweight in financials and have owned HCG for several years. I'm planning to sell at a (small) loss but would wait if you felt further price appreciation is likely.

Q: I am sensing that Stella Jones may suffer as a result of the very real possibility of NAFTA disputes under a Trump presidency. I note that the stock price has been moving south lately. Q: The company is proposing a Capital Reduction in order to be able to maintain the current .09 quarterly dividend, of $100 million.Canada Business Corp Act states a corp shall not declare or pay a div " if there are reasonable grounds for believing that the realisable value of the corp's assets would thereby be less than the aggregate of its liabilities & stated capital"

In layman's language, can you explain what Rogers is proposing here, where the $100 M will be going and if you feel, as the company states, this is a positive move for shareholders?

Q: Hi Peter, Can we request to please include top 5 buys in each portfolio along with monthly portfolio reports. This will help us in directing new money.
Also, do you think there is strong case of putting new money into stocks within coverage summary that have high ratings but has dropped over last 12 months . Like ABT, BOS, ENGH etc. Since they have a good rating ( B or over ) are these good candidates for rebound or would rating may be slashing once the review comes up.Thanks
