Q: Thank You for your quick response. In my own little world, I continue to believe that DYA has a great concept. I just can’t understand why the product cannot be designed and manufactured to meet customer/market expectations! At a time when gas and diesel prices are at ‘all time highs’ and the introduction of this product is supposed to reduce fuel consumption to allow companies to save enough in a 12 month period to pay for the purchase…it’s just not registering with me why there’s such a struggle to sell the product! In saying the above, and with so many businesses/investors who could do ‘so much’ with a product like this, do you feel it could possibly be bought or taken over in the coming months? Thank you again.

Q: Recent quarterly results are ‘just not pretty!’ I really had hope for this Company, especially when it attracted the interest of Eric Sprott. There appears to be so, so many misleading statements; so many empty promises! No sales, I mean NO sales in a quarter! Is there something I’m missing or does there seem to be some suspicious activities with this company? Would really appreciate an updated analysis of where you see things going with this struggling company! Thanks in advance for your usual great service. Stan.

Q: This company has been on my radar for quite some time. Despite major enhancements to the manufactured product, unlimited pattons, dealerships throughout the world, & attracting major investors, most notably Eric Sprott, the company continues to struggle to get those products out to Market! I fully understand that Covid has contributed to some interruption. Studies keep showing that there is a desperate need for such a product in todays market place. Just looking at financial results for year ending 31/12/21 is both mind blowing & simply difficult to understand! Would really appreciate your comments on the latest financial results and your assessment on where you see this company going! Thank You in advance.

Q: Hello, I have followed DYA for a while. Technology looks interesting yet the market is indicating the technology is disappointing. Please provide a recent update. Also, In a earlier answer for DYA, you indicted that "we have coments in the Q&A on DYA". Where is the Q&A? I have looked for it and cannot find it. I just see questions. Thanks

Q: I sent this question in last weekend and haven’t had a response. I know you have been busy and it may still be answered yet. So in case it got buried somewhere I will send again.
I have bought the 3 companies recently based on the areas of the market they are in. The idea being that they are in popular fields that they could do well. I purchased a 1/3 position in each and hoping they would increase in value. They have and am now looking at adding to them about another 1/3 position. Should they increase another 10 to 20% I will probably repeat.I would like your expert opinion on each and whether this is a good strategy with each one? Or do you feel any one of them is a little too much risk? If you feel negative or positive on any please give me a brief summery on why.
Please take the appropriate amount of credits, cause I know there is more than one or two questions here.
Thanks for your advise. John

Q: I have been looking for exposure in the hydrogen business and have a few questions. I own XBC based on your coverage and have done well so thank you. My first question is whether it makes sense to just pile into the US names like PLUG or FCEL as they are much more explosive given the audience or to look for quality names doing similar things in Canada. If you could also state your thoughts on why one market is better despite similar tech.

The second part of my question is that I notice DYA comes up alongside Ballard Power and Xebec in your answers related to hydrogen. The chart on DYA is almost an exact reverse of BLDP and XBC which holders of those stocks will know is a bad thing. What is DYA not doing yet (or has done wrong) that has caused it to go down vs. up? What needs to happen for it to catch investor attention? Is there a product or service yet to launch? Is there a technology not yet widely adopted? Lastly, does 5i see strong potential here for DYA to do "that thing" that will be a catalyst for the stock price or are you merely mentioning it as one in a sector.

Q: Good afternoon, team. This morning on BNN it was announced that CP is planning on developing a hydrogen locomotive. The G&M had an article identifying stocks it felt were positioned to make a pivot to the "hydrogen ecosystem". These seemed to be mostly drillers: HAL, BKR, SLB and, in Canada, PD and EFX. Also today my Economist arrived with an article hydrogen powered flight. Something seems to be happening here. I have had Ballard Power but it hasn't ever made a profit. Is XBC in this field? Can you identify two or three US and Canadian companies that might be good for investment now?
