Q: If you held the following smaller cap stocks in positions of 0.5% to 1.0% of your total stock portfolio, and wanted to reduce the number of holdings by selling several of them and using the money to add to others, which ones would you sell and which ones would you add to: ACQ, ADEN, AEP, AND, CHW, CJ, DCM, ECN, GEO, HPS.A, LNF, NOA, PRL, QIPT, RCH, RET.A, SFC, STLC, SVI, TVE, WELL, XTC. Assume overall portfolio is well diversified so sectors not a consideration, and that this is the riskier part of portfolio, so, higher risk is fine. Would be great if you could pare this list of 22 stocks down to about 10-15. Thanks.

Q: Geodrill first q results looked good to me. I was also pleased to see that the company announced that insiders exercised 1,170,000 options at an exercise price of CAD$2.14 for proceeds of approximately CAD$2.5M.
I often find when insiders buy on "the sky is falling days" that it is a good indication that the shares are in the bargain bin.
Likewise, there 2 large inside buys of BAM.A on Monday by Flatt and Cockwell-- both very smart guys.

Q: The company increased its dividend from 1 to 3 cents ( semi-annual) and its drill count. The year end numbers were good. I listened to the conference call and they said that they is a big demand for drills and they can get better pricing. Africa is not looking so bad a place to do business and the CEO was quite upbeat. This one looks promising for long term hold.

Q: GEO has been a good performer the past year but has been weak for the recent few months and particularly since releasing earnings earlier in May. Although the quarter showed some metrics that were down a bit, it appears they are setting up for good growth next year. Is this your take on the company? Is it a good time to complete a full position on the price weakness?
