Q: Hi, There was an article published in Globe & Mail, yesterday with title "BCE payout hikes not so bulletproof". The article mentioned a report from Accountability Research Corp about how "Free cash Flow" term is used by the company. More specifically question was about exclusion of expenses related to voluntary contributions by co. to its employees defined benefit pension plan and acquisition costs from Free Cash Flow. G&M writer argued that including these expenses in free cash flow will result in BCE's dividend well outside the target range of 65-75% of FCF. BCE executive, in an email, explained company's reasoning to do so based on inconsistent nature of these items. Could you please share your thoughts on this. I think, this article could be a reason for BCE share price decline on March 10. Thanks
Q: What are your thoughts on Intertape's earnings. They report in US dollars so the shares appear attractively valued to me. Are there current underlying issues that would justify the low multiple (debt)? I know historically they have had their hiccups but am I correct in assuming these are mostly behind them?
Q: Between these 2 stocks, they represent about 8% of my overall portfolio. Trying to bring my allocations back inline ...would you keep both ? If you had to choose which one to sell, which would it be ? FSZ/MIC

Q: I currently hold both ZGI and BPI.UN in my RRSP.I am thinking of selling ZGI and buying more BIP.UN because of the higher yield.I realize there is more diversification from ZGI but i am concerned
with income. The share price of BPI.Un has outperformed ZGI over the last 5 years. Any thoughts are appreciated. Joe

Q: You have not had any questions on KKR since 2013. Might have found a bottom. Please provide your opinion on this equity? Any issues buying at this level? Best, Don
Q: A couple of questions ...
It seems as if the CAC40 and the DAX made significant late moves today in just a few minutes ... I'm not sure what caused that, but in terms of trends Europe definitely (?) seems to be heading positive .
Firstly do you feel Europe is a good place to put some money to work (now) . Secondly , do you have any fave ETFs , or ADRs that we should be looking at .
Q: I see you like this company over EMP.A which reported bad earnings due to write-off of goodwill from their safeway purchase & sales down in Western Canada due to low oil - I think this is just an excuse - the reason is probably poor integration - people need to eat! It seems to me that from a long-term perspective ( I am an investor not a trader ) EMP.a might present a better opportunity than ATD because: PEG ratio 1, PE to ROE is 1 - pay a dollar for a dollar of earnings, growth through acquisition with its inherent risk & virtually no dividend - I have a problem buying a stock that does not pay at least 3% with a history of increasing.
This situation reminds me of L when they had issues which brought their stock down- finally got their logistics system on track - stock steady increase over last three years.
Comments please.
