Q: Hello 5i:
I wish to do a little consolidating in the portfolio. Could you rank the stocks above, from a total return point of view. Obviously, the dividend is important, as is dividend growth.
as always, thanks

Q: Hello 5i,
I want to buy two stocks to balance my portfolio which is overweight in Consumer, Financial and Health Care. In my watch list I have the following stocks.
Materials: MX
Industrials: ECI, EIF, KWH.UN
IT: ENGH, SYZ
Telecom: T
Utilities: BEP.UN
Which two stocks (sectors) would you buy at the present time? If (when) there is a correction, which sectors are more likely be on “sale”?
Thanks!

Q: As you can see small retail investors are forced to compete in a market were self serving hedge funds are given a soap box on national tv BNN to hawk there position and fears into the small retail investor .The vast viewership of BNN are small retail investors who are influenced buy guests like last nite.
It is a very unlevel playing field.
As a senior investor it is clear to me that it time to get to hell out and the leave market to hedge fund hawkers

Q: Hi I just watched this hedge fund manager short EIF I wonder what his credentials are I doubt reading a Finance Report are his forte .I believe any can and has the right to short a stock but when as a guest on BNN you do this it has a impact on the stock .
I believe that BNN should not allow exposure to these hedge Managers to help them advertise their short position .
As a shareholder of BCE I am going to be a pain in !@@&^
for the next while BNN should be held accountable
Kind Regards
Stan

Q: Good Morning
Today, on BNN, an analyst indicated that he is shorting both stocks. I will appreciate your views with respect to the above noted securities. I am ahead about 40% on both stocks.
Would you recommend selling TRI and EIF
Thank you

Q: When to sell. It seems every time I sell something it immediately starts going up. Awhile back I watched Simo fall from $45 to $37 where I sold and the next day it started going up and is still going up to this day. EIF which I watched fall from $45 to $35 and recently sold it at $35 and by the end of the day it started going up and it is still going up to this day. Is this a coincidence - they would turn around and go up as fast as they came down? Right now I have CZO down 40%, ITC down 20% and GSY down 5%. I am skeptical about selling them because it may happen again. Are there any of these three that should be sold? Thank you very much. Dennis

Q: These are the only 2 stocks I own in roughly equal portions of $41,000.00 each in my TFSA.
I am looking at selling equal amounts of each stock to buy another equally weighted stock.
I prefer small caps with a 5%+ yield and good growth potential for long term hold. DRIP if possible.
Would you name 3 stocks which you think may be suitable. Thanks
Derek

Q: Please dock two questions for this:

1. Would EIF be best held in a TFSA or non-registered account?
2. What would you recommend for a high divdiend paying stock in the consumer space for a non-registered account. Would BPF.UN be a good choice?
