Q: Would you please advise on how to get the best return on cash I am holding in my Canadian registered, non-registered, and TFSA accounts.
Q: Looking to add GENTEX Corp. to my RRSP account. They have been increasing the dividend at a good rate as well as revenues the last few years. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated.
Q: Is there any investment here or is it dying a slow death. What does the
balance sheet show after more losses again last quarter. Any hope?

Q: I currently own CLS and thinking of selling this stock and buying SYZ or OTEX or would it be best to buy both? I currently already have KXS and PHO. These are the only 2 tech stocks that I will own after selling CLS. My total weight is only 5%.
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Can you please comment on the takeover by Shawcor? Thanks
Q: I am retired, DB pension, and mostly hold equities that generate some dividend income as I prefer to be paid to wait. I believe I need more ex-Canada exposure. Other than VDU most of my portfolios are heavily oriented to Canadian equites and only a handful with apparently significant non-Cdn. revenue streams (ENB, HOT.UN, BAM.A. BIP.UN, TRI, SLF and MFC). Do you know of a source or list of Canadian listed equities that 1) have foreign income streams and 2) pay a growing dividend in Canada? How does someone go about finding this information?
Q: Hi, please comment on my method of transferring unwanted volatile stocks (nflx, vgt, itx, vmd) to safer div. options. I have placed 5% trailing sell orders with a 2% limit until sold or cancelled in order to capture more upside in this likely short bull rally.
Please suggest your best 5 core div. names in Canada, USA and international.

Q: I received 541 OM Warrants a year ago when Pine Point became Osisko Metals. If I understand correctly, each warrant ‘entitles’ me to buy one OM share for $1.50. With OM recently trading at about $0.50, am I correct that I should just let these warrants expire on Feb. 22, 2019?

Q: Hi 5I,
The above names are all owned in my TFSA. Of these, I am underweight in COV, IWO, PHO, SDX, SYZ AND VB. I've got some cash to put to work with a long term objective. With consideration to the sector weighting, and my under weights, would you recommend I top up on any at this time or maybe introduce a completely different name or names to the portfolio? Thanks!

Q: I have noticed recently that Aapl, Amzn, Brk, Googl and V that the daily share volume has been about 70 % of the 10 day volume and Shop and Sq have been at or higher than the 10 day volume ( the stocks mentioned are some companies in my portfolio). To me this means that the rise in share price does not have wide support and could fall soon.
Appreciate your comments on the support of the rally and are people hiding money in short term instruments until they can verify one way or the other the next direction of the market.

Q: Now that Husky's takeover has failed and I am down 22% I am looking at taking a loss and selling. How do you feel about that or is there something in your crystal ball?
Q: I currently PBH at a 3% weight and underwater and wonder what your thought were to increase my weight to 4%? Add or just hold for now?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: What stock would you replace CGX if sold today? Looking for a replacement from the same sector.
Q: Hi there, I'm looking to replicate your balanced equity portfolio with a few adjustments for a slightly higher tilt towards growth. I have a 2 part question: Would AQN be a suitable substitute for ENB for an investor? Also, what other more conservative names in your balanced equity portfolio would you swap out for higher growth names at this time?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Q: Hello there ,
Do you think Mark Leonard of CSU has ever thought of selling CSU and starting again? As Constellation gets larger and larger one would think their growth rate will slow. It might be a challenge to have the same success in the next 10 years as he has had in the last 10 years. I know he has identified tens of thousands of potential takeover targets, do you think it makes sense to sell CSU and start CSU part 2? A new company could be valued back at $25/share and one would think he could double to $50 quickly and again to $100 starting from scratch quicker than $1000 to $2000? So many more deals need to be made now and much larger deals potentially to move the needle. Thoughts?
Thank-you

Q: Would this etf be a good RRSP candidate to compliment a good mix of blue chip stocks (Td, Bce, Slf, T, Enb and Trp) I hold 5% each of Vee and Zwe ETFs as well for some foreign exposure?
Thnx team!
Thnx team!
Q: Hi there, I own both TSGI and GC in a well diversified portfolio. I'm up 12% on GC, but down 50% on TSGI. I don't mind holding if there is still good potential, but I'm wondering if there's anything else out there with better short term recovery potential while I wait for things to turn in Star's favour. I'm risk tolerant and any size or sector is fine.
