Q: I would appreciate your insight on GEI vs ENB. How do the pay out ratios/debt compare, the sustainabiltiy of the dividend and the ability of increasing the dividend? Which one would have a better growth? Would you prefer holding just one or would both be okay as well for added diversification?

Q: Hi Ryan, what do you think about Gibson after their Q2 report?. I see one analyst has a price target in mid twenties and a couple of others have a low twenties target which seems a little higher than the last year or two.
Thanks in advance AEO

Q: Hello,
Gibsons tempting at yield of over 7%.
Price relatively sideways between $15 - $20 over last 2+ years.
I don't mind holding just for income but:
1) Is Dividend safe?
2) What is keeping stock price in this sideways pattern and is there an even small chance of growth?
3) Buy, Sell or Hold?
4) Do some analysts say "Hold" as a polite way of saying "Sell"?
Many thanks.

Q: I hold these 3 bowzers and am obviously getting whipped. Is there any sound logic in combining the 3 into just one of them and that one would have the highest probability of the quickest recovery? I would turn to 5I for advice on which one that would be.

Q: Some time ago GEI said that it would sell some assets. Apparently it now has a deal. Was this a good move? I know that it has a lot of debt but will this sale hurt the revenue line?
Q: GEI has taken a terrible beating over the past few days. Reason? Hold for income, sell, or add more now? Thanks for your advice. - Ted
Q: Can I get your opinion on Gibson , the market does not seem to like the latest corporate plan or is the selling pressure from other market factors.
Thanks Bill

Q: for additional income and some growth I am considering the four listed companies, or what would be your recommendations. may I have your comments.
thank you.
thank you.
Q: I have to cash in some of my RIF and wondering which company would be preferable to invest in. Both dividends seem to be safe with a good pay-out history.
Q: Your thoughts on their latest 1/4, and in general.
Thanks

Q: Hi there
Really appreciate what you guys do! I am a bit overweight to oil infrastructure and maybe Alberta centred companies. Do you think that given the oil majors seem to be selling their oil sand assets that is a sign that the future does not look too rosy in regard o more projects and more oil output in the oil sands going forward? A 2nd question: I hold equal weights of Inter Pipeline and Gibson energy and was going to sell one of these to reduce my oily assets. Looking at a 2 year time frame which stock would you keep?
Thanks
Stuart

Q: Hi gang, do you think the company's announcement of expansion at Hardisty will lead to some sort of equity offering of financing? Do you think this is still a buy now or wait and see?
Thank you AEO

Q: Q2 earnings out, is it good to buy now. I see Ryan is on BNN market call early Wednesday.

Q: Gibson has been on a downward tear lately. Do you think this is company specific issues such as a possible dividend cut, or just general negative energy issues.
Q: I am down a bit on GEI & thinking about a switch to PKI? Would like your thoughts on this swap.
Thanks

Q: Are you able to reasonably estimate when a company will produce positive (EPS) earnings per share (i.e 1-3 year out)? If so, when will GEI (Gibson's Energy) have positive earnings? Are there any services /sources out there that does this type of projection?
On a different matter, are my question credits carried over should I not use all my question credits by my renewal date?

Q: Gooday I have a 3.6% weighting in Gei. I also have a 4% weighting in Altagas. Should I add more Gibson on q1 release?

Q: What was the fundamental reason(s) for Gibson Energy's slow decline to ~ 1/3 its value from sep 2014 to Jan 2016 and are those reasons still true today? It still pays a fairly hefty dividend of ~7% but is it safe and by that I mean is there a danger of the stock taking another relentless dive down?
Q: Good Morning. Would like your assessment of Gibson's recent earnings report along with your current opinion of this company and the "safety" of its dividend. Also, any comments you might have in regard to the oil space in general in light of recent reports about the drastically improving metrics for solar energy, and therefore long term pressure on fossil fuels as the primary energy source. Thank you.
Q: GEI has taken quite a wack today on the announcement of the Propane division sale which has been known about for some time now. Any thoughts??
